We are delighted to share that Mama’s Voice has been officially selected for the Polish Documentary Film Competition at the 18th NNW International Film Festival, taking place in Gdynia, Poland, from 1–4 October 2026.

We are truly happy and honoured to take part in the competition programme and look forward to meeting the Festival audience in Gdynia!

На 30-му Міжнародному кінофестивалі AVANCA в Португалії документальний фільм Ганни Яровенко «Голос мами» отримав Television Award — головну нагороду Міжнародного конкурсу телевізійних документальних фільмів (International Competition – Television – Documentaries).

Фільм дуже тепло зустріли в Португалії. Його двічі показали — в Авейру та на фестивалі AVANCA.

Разом із ним також показали одну із серій анімаційної трилогії Ганни Яровенко «Легенди Млави», яка також двічі була показана в конкурсній програмі фестивалю.

На жаль, у ніч з 31 липня на 1 серпня, саме того дня, коли ввечері на фестивалі відбувся показ «Голосу мами», росія завдала чергового ракетного удару по Києву. Під час нього загинула Віталіна Яровенко - племінниця Ганни Яровенко.

Як повідомила режисерка, до Португалії вона поїхала разом із Ларисою Яровенко та її чоловіком Дмитром Коноваловим — продюсерами фільмів. Коли вони дізналися про перемогу, одностайно вирішили присвятити цю нагороду пам'яті Віталіни. Дівчина поїхала рятувати людей, але загинула внаслідок повторного російського ракетного удару.

Тому ця перемога для команди стала насамперед даниною її пам'яті.

On August 5, Mama's Voice was screened in the International Competition of the 13th International Documentary Festival of Ierapetra, held on the island of Crete, Greece. The film is also part of the festival's official online programme, where it will remain available to audiences throughout the festival month.

Today, the official closing ceremony of the Avanca Film Festival took place. During the ceremony, the juries of each competition category announced the festival winners.

Our film, “Mama’s Voice,” won the Documentary Film and Television award. It is a tremendous honor for us, and Larysa Iarovenko, Ganna Yarovenko, and Dmytro Konovalov were invited anto the stage to receive the prize.

In our acceptance speech, we dedicated this award to the memory of our niece, Vitalina Yarovenko, who was killed yesterday by a Russian missile launched by the enemy that continues its attempt to destroy Ukraine.

It is incredibly difficult to come to terms with such a loss, especially when a young life is cut short. We see it as our mission to keep reminding the world about Ukraine and the war that Russia is waging against our country.
