The gentle tap of a spoon against an egg, that’s the sound of a good, slow morning to me.

We made these egg holders as an invitation to stop, to let breakfast become a little moment instead of a rush.

Each piece is hand-thrown on the wheel, with different shapes and variations that make every one its own.

A moment from an old photoshoot with .kordiak at .lithouse I loved revisiting. You often see only the finished vases, but the decisions, experiments, doubts, and little fears along the way are just as real. That’s also what makes an artisan; moving through all of that with care, patience, and a bit (or a lot, depending on the day) of love for the process.

Now that summer is winding down, we find ourselves balancing studio work with planning ahead for the next season. It’s been a very creative time and we’re almost done with all the changes in the shop. Soon we’ll share some of them here so that you can see
