Agnes Zwierko

Agnes Zwierko studied at the Fryderyk Chopin Music Academy, where she graduated from in 1994, having received a master grade in computer science and electronics at the Warsaw University of Science and Technology beforehand. She has since sung for the major concert halls and opera houses in Poland and for international opera houses and companies including Teatr Wielki - Opera Narodowa Warszawa, Teatr Wielki Poznań, Kraków Opera, Teatr Wielki Łódź, Slovenské národné divadlo Bratislava, Státní opera Praha, Národní divadlo moravskoslezské Ostrava, Štátna opera Banská Bystrica, Štátne divadlo Košice, Operaen på Holmen i København, Oper Leipzig, Semperoper Dresden, Teatro Massimo Palermo, Teatro Massimo Bellini Catania, Teatro Regio Torino, Accademia di Santa Cecilia Roma, Teatro alla Scala Milano, Gran Teatre del Liceu Barcelona, Teatro Real Madrid, Teatro Cervantes Málaga, Ópera de Oviedo, Komische Oper Berlin, Staatsoper Berlin, Teatro Colón Buenos Aires, Theater an der Wien, Royal Opera House - Covent Garden London, Opera National de Paris and others. Her repertory includes: Amneris (Aida), Eboli (Don Carlo), Azucena (Il Trovatore), Ulrica (Un ballo in maschera), Quickly (Falstaff), Frugola (Il tabarro), Princess (Suor Angelica), Zita (Gianni Schicchi), Madame Larina (Eugene Onegin), Ljubov (Mazepa), Princess Eupraxia (The Enchantress), Kundry (Parsifal), Mary (Der fliegende Holländer ), Ludmila (The Bartered Bride), Kostelnička (Jenůfa), Kabanicha (Kát’a Kabanová), Jezibaba (Rusalka), Klytämnestra (Elektra), Jocaste (Oedipus Rex), Dyaconess (Król Roger), Mme de la Haltière (Cendrillon) and others. From a couple of years Zwierko realizes her ambitions also in teaching young singers and giving master clasess. From 2017 she is the professor of singing in the F.Chopin Music University, department in Białystok. In January 2021 she got the title of doctor habilitated professor of musical arts in the musical discipline of vocal studies. Since 2016 she holds the title of Gold Engineer of Honour got from Main Technical Organization in Poland
