Greetings, my dear friends and brothers. I hope you are all doing well.
جیسا کہ آپ سب سے وعدہ کیا تھا کہ ہم آپ کے لیے ایک ایسی کتاب لائیں گے جس میں پشتونوں کی ثقافت، ان کی کارکردگی، اور ان کی تاریخ کا تفصیلی احاطہ ہوگا۔ اس کتاب میں پشتونوں کے ماضی، ان کی روایات، اور پاکستان میں ان کی مختلف علاقوں میں موجودگی کے بارے میں بات کی جائے گی۔ آج اس سلسلے کی پہلی قسط پیش کر رہے ہیں۔
As promised, we are bringing you a book that delves deeply into the culture, achievements, and history of the Pashtun people. This book covers the rich traditions of the Pashtuns, their past, and their significant presence in various regions of Pakistan. Today, we present the first installment of this series.
یہ کتاب پشتو شاعری کے انداز میں لکھی گئی ہے اور اس میں بہت سی گہری باتوں کے جوابات دیے گئے ہیں، جو عام انسان کے لیے شاید سمجھنا مشکل ہو۔ پشتون قوم کے بارے میں مختلف رائے قائم کی گئی ہے، کبھی انہیں سادہ لوح اور بے وقوف کہا گیا، اور کبھی ان کی ذہانت اور طاقت کو سراہا گیا ہے۔ آج کی دنیا میں پشتون قوم مضبوط بھی ہے اور ذہین بھی۔
This book is written in the style of Pashto poetry, addressing many profound questions that are often difficult for the average person to grasp. Throughout history, Pashtuns have been perceived in various ways—sometimes labeled as simple-minded or naive, and at other times praised for their intelligence and strength. In today's world, the Pashtun people are both strong and intelligent.
تاریخ میں بہت سے عظیم شخصیات گزری ہیں جو پشتون قبیلے سے تعلق رکھتی تھیں، چاہے وہ سیاست کے میدان میں ہوں، سائنس میں ہوں، کھیلوں میں یا کسی بھی اور شعبے میں، انہوں نے نمایاں کارنامے سرانجام دیے ہیں۔ اگرچہ کچھ پشتون افراد وجوہات کی بنا پر پشتو زبان نہیں بولتے، لیکن ان کا تعلق پشتون قبیلے سے رہا اور انہوں نے اپنے شعبوں میں نمایاں خدمات انجام دی ہیں۔
Many great figures from the Pashtun tribe have left their mark in diverse fields, whether in politics, science, sports, or other professions. While some Pashtuns may no longer speak the Pashto language due to certain reasons, their roots remain in the Pashtun tribe, and they have made notable contributions in their respective fields.
اب سوال یہ اٹھتا ہے کہ پشتون قوم کے بارے میں اتنی مختلف رائے کیوں پائی جاتی ہے؟ ایک طرف انہیں کم عقل اور سادہ سمجھا جاتا ہے اور دوسری طرف انہیں ذہین اور طاقتور تصور کیا جاتا ہے۔ یہ تضاد کیوں ہے؟ اس فرق کو کیسے ختم کیا جا سکتا ہے؟ یہ فرق حقیقت میں موجود بھی ہے یا نہیں؟
This raises a critical question: why are there such contrasting views about the Pashtun people? On one hand, they are regarded as simple and unwise, while on the other hand, they are considered highly intelligent and powerful. Why does this disparity exist? How can we bridge this gap? Does this gap even truly exist?
یہ تمام سوالات اس کتاب میں تفصیل سے زیر بحث لائے جائیں گے۔ چونکہ یہ کتاب پشتو زبان میں ہے، اس لیے میں اس کے ترجمے کو کیپشن میں شامل کروں گا اور کوشش کروں گا کہ ہماری ملکی اور غیر ملکی آڈینس کے لیے انگریزی سب ٹائٹلز بھی فراہم کروں، تاکہ وہ بھی سمجھ سکیں کہ پشتون قوم اور ان کی ثقافت کیا ہے۔
These are the questions we will explore in depth in this book. Since the book is written in Pashto, I will include its translation in the captions, and I will also ensure that English subtitles are provided for our audience both within the country and abroad, so that everyone can understand what the Pashtun culture and people truly represent.
