Rahul Gandhi spoke about Manusmriti in today’s live programme in Pune, quoting its views about women and using them to make a point about women’s freedom and equality.

Fair enough—if religious scriptures are being discussed, they should all be examined by the same standard.

But then, why stop at Manusmriti?

Why not also discuss passages from the Quran, such as Surah An-Nisa 4:34, which has traditionally been interpreted as giving husbands authority in marriage and includes a disputed instruction concerning marital disobedience?

And if the discussion is about religious texts and women's rights, why not discuss 1 Timothy 2:11–12 from the Bible, which restricts women from teaching or exercising authority over men in the church?

The point is not to attack any religion. The point is consistency.

If Manusmriti can be quoted to criticise ideas about women, then the same intellectual standard should be applied when discussing the Quran, the Bible, or any other religious text.

Selective criticism is not secularism.
Either examine all texts honestly, or don't use religious scriptures selectively for political arguments.

Secularism has become a curse for Hindus! Why are Hindus targeted every time? Why has Congress, since the British era, kept trying to divide us? His agenda is very clear!

And we know the progress of Congress in 70 years! When the whole world was using 4G, they were busy scamming 2G towers!

I agree with his remarks what about you??

**HD Kumaraswamy on Sonia Gandhi 🇮🇳**

Union Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy has sparked a political controversy with his remarks on Sonia Gandhi amid the ongoing Vande Mataram row.

He questioned her Indian origins and said:

“She came here after marrying, but most of the blood flowing through her veins is Italian, isn’t it?”

His comments have triggered a sharp political response from the Congress.

The controversy comes after the dispute over the full rendition of **Vande Mataram** at the Congress headquarters on Independence Day.

What do you think about Kumaraswamy’s remarks? 🇮🇳

🇬🇧 UK Charity Linked to Iran Scrutinized After Receiving Visa Sponsorship Powers.

A UK-based charity, the Islamic Centre of England, has come under renewed scrutiny after reports that it holds a Home Office sponsor licence, allowing it to sponsor visas for skilled workers and religious ministers.

The organization has previously faced allegations of links to Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and was formally reprimanded by the Charity Commission over social media content that called for Israel's destruction. The charity denies being controlled by any government, insisting it is an independent UK charity operating under British law.

It remains under investigation by the Charity Commission. Officials also stated that if any wrongdoing is uncovered, those responsible could face severe penalties, including prison sentences, loss of licences, and further legal action.

The British government has also emphasized that it takes the threat posed by the Iranian regime and those acting on its behalf "with the utmost seriousness," adding that new laws have been introduced to strengthen action against support for the IRGC.

The investigation is ongoing, and no findings of criminal wrongdoing have yet been announced.

🇩🇪 **Berlin Pride Attack Shocks Germany**

Germany is mourning after a deadly attack near Berlin's Christopher Street Day (CSD) Pride celebrations. According to German authorities, a vehicle drove into a crowd before a knife attack followed, leaving **one person dead and dozens injured**. Investigators are treating the incident as a suspected **Islamist terrorist attack** and have identified a suspect with previous extremist links. ([Reuters][1])

The tragedy has reignited debate across Germany over public safety, counter-terrorism, immigration, and the protection of LGBTQ+ communities. Political leaders from across Europe condemned the violence, describing it as an attack on freedom, diversity, and peaceful public gatherings. ([AP News][2])

As investigations continue, it is important to rely on verified information rather than social media claims or unconfirmed reports. Acts of terrorism target innocent civilians regardless of their background, and accountability rests with those responsible—not with entire communities.

🕊️ Our thoughts are with the victims, their families, and everyone affected by this horrific attack.

A recent statement by Maulana Ansari, in which he reportedly described Lord Krishna as a "Namazi," has sparked strong reactions across the country. Many Hindus have viewed the remark as a misrepresentation of their faith and religious traditions, leading to widespread criticism from religious organizations and political leaders.

Religious harmony is built on **understanding each other's beliefs—not redefining or reinterpreting another religion's sacred figures to fit one's own theological framework.

Every faith deserves respect, and that respect begins with acknowledging its teachings as its followers understand them. Public figures should exercise responsibility when speaking about religions, especially on matters that can hurt the sentiments of millions.

Freedom of expression is important, but so is the responsibility to promote mutual respect and peaceful coexistence.

Respect every faith!
