The ECB has announced its decision not to engage in any bilateral series or one-off Test matches with Afghanistan. Meanwhile, Afghan players continue to express their willingness to participate in The Hundred under the ECB. Notably, when Australia declined to play against Afghanistan and their players went unsold in the Big Bash League, the Afghan players claimed that country comes first so they pull out of BBL after going unsold there.

When it was confirmed that PCB won't pick BBL players in Sri Lanka tour it was quite evident looking at his recent and overall numbers that Maaz Sadaqat will replace Babar in the Squad.

But PCB from nowhere picked Khawaja Nafay in the squad despite very limited domestic experience in the team based on another part timer keeper quota.

There was no need for another part time wicket keeper in the squad which already had 2 part time keepers Usman and Farhan.

Maaz Sadaqat is just 20 Years old and despite that young age he has already played 24 FC Games and 27 List A and 27 T20 Games(Total 78 Games). He has played some games in the PSL but also represented Pakistan A side in the Emerging Asia Cup.

He was Man of the Tournament and Leading Run Scorer of that Event.

He scored 258 Runs in 5 Matches with Average 129 and Strike Rate 178. He also hit 19 Sixes during that event. He won three Man of the Match Awards.

In His Overall T20 Career (27 Matches) he scored 789 Runs at the Average of 40 and Strike rate of 147. He hit 37 Sixes. He picked 15 Wickets too.

In His List A Career (24 Matches) he scored 972 Runs at the Average of 41 and Strike rate of 102. He hit 41 Sixes. He picked 17 Wickets too.

In His FC Career (27 Matches) he scored 1413 Runs at the Average of 39. He picked 17 Wickets too.

In the recently concluded President One Day Cup he scored 374 runs at the average of 62 and Strike Rate 144. He scored 2 100s and 2 50s. He also hit 21 Sixes.

These numbers are enough to pick him ahead of Khawaja Nafay based on Hong Kong Super Sixes and some Innings of T10 which aren't even part of any recognized Cricket.

He has played only 5 FC and 2 50 Overs games. In fact he has played more 6 and 20 Overs games than FC + List A combined.

He has played In 32 T20 Matches and scored 688 Runs at the Average of 24 and Strike rate of 133. He hit 38 Sixes.

Nafay wasn't even part of the Pakistan A team. While Maaz who was Part of Pakistan A team couldn't progress to Pakistan Team when opportunity was there.

Nafay not have any acheivment like Maaz which I mentioned above because he don't have too much experience.

If someone says Maaz hasn't played enough cricket to pick for National side then Nafay has played half off that cricket despite being 4 years older than Maaz.
