🌾 Almond & Rice Milk Soap 🌰

Handy Crafts – Handmade Soap

🧼 Simple 100 g Melt & Pour Soap Recipe

Ingredients:

Melt & pour soap base: 100 g

Almond oil: 1 g

Rice powder: 0.5 g

Cosmetic-grade almond fragrance: 0.2–0.3 g (optional)

Vitamin E: 0.2 g (optional)

🥣 Method

1. Cut the soap base into small cubes.

2. Melt gently using a double boiler.

3. Mix the almond oil and finely powdered rice into the melted base.

4. Add fragrance when the base has cooled slightly, following the supplier's recommended temperature.

5. Pour into a silicone mould.

6. Let it harden, then remove from the mould.

Almond oil: Helps soften the skin.

Rice powder: Adds a gentle cleansing texture.

Melt & pour base: Makes soap preparation easy for beginners.

⚠️ Important Tips

Use finely milled rice powder to avoid a scratchy texture.

Avoid adding fresh rice milk or homemade almond milk to melt-and-pour soap, as these can cause spoilage or affect the soap's stability.

Patch-test before use.

🍌 Easy Banana Face mask

Ingredients:

* 🍌 ½ ripe banana

* 🍯 1 teaspoon honey (optional)

* 🥛 1 teaspoon plain yogurt (optional)

How to make and use:

* Mash the banana until smooth.

* Mix in honey or yogurt if desired.

* Apply a thin layer to a clean face.

* Leave for 10–15 minutes.

* Rinse gently with lukewarm water.

Benefits: May help soften skin and temporarily improve its feel.

Tips: Use once or twice a week. Patch-test first, avoid the eye area, and do not apply to irritated skin. This mask is not proven to whiten skin or treat acne.

Activated charcoal soap

Ingredients

Melt & pour glycerin soap base 100 g

Cosmetic-grade activated charcoal powder 0.5 g

Fragrance oil (soap-safe, optional) 0.5 g

Method

* Cut the soap base into small cubes.

* Melt gently using a double boiler or short microwave intervals. Do not boil.

* Mix the charcoal powder with a small amount of melted soap base to remove lumps.

* Add this mixture back into the melted base and stir gently.

* Add soap-safe fragrance, if desired.

* Pour into a soap mould and allow it to harden.

* Unmould when completely firm.

Important tips

* Use cosmetic-grade activated charcoal, not charcoal collected from burnt wood.

* Start with 0.5% charcoal to help prevent excessive staining.

* Avoid adding water to the melt-and-pour base.
