Ms. Fatima Noor representing Pakistan:

Fatima Noor, did her masters in Gender Studies from University of Punjab where the importance of gender study cannot be denied in anywhere in the world. She got a chance to publish an article on “women shelter homes a case study of Dastak". Dastak is a well-known shelter home providing shelter to the needy women. Her study on Dastak discus the problems women are facing during their stay at shelter home. This study also research about the facilities which shelter home is providing to their inmates. Currently, She is teaching on the subject of Women empowerment and Sociology at Lahore College for Women University,Lahore as teaching assistant. She is currently doing her MPhil also.

Throughout her educational career, she participated in every seminar, workshop, etc. She was a member of Active citizen - a workshop by British Council and Shirkat Gha, an another opportunity stretching the capacity of CVE’s key stakeholders in Pakistan - a workshop by Burgad. In December 2016, she initiated a program called “Bell Ringers” with her fellows to help young, enthusiastic children who want to pursue their education but are unable to fulfill their dreams because of their financial circumstances. She also started a project of awareness rising about under age r**e victims with the title of “Save Childhood”.
