I want to warn everyone looking for a job: stay away from MDTech in DHA Phase 4. Here's why:
They've callously laid off over 60 employees without any prior notice. It's okay if a company needs to let people go, but they're supposed to give us an extra month's pay, like it says in our contracts. But they didn't.
I've worked there for over a year, and I never took any annual leave so I could get paid for it later (Leave encashment), a benefit promised in our contracts. But now it's been three months, numerous employees, myself included, are still waiting for what is rightfully ours.
The culture at MDTech is suffocatingly micromanaged. Employees are expected to operate like robots, with absurd policies like male and female can't access roof together even the camera is installed. And only managers can have coffee, not us regular employees.
Even basic things like toilet paper are limited, with only two boxes allotted per day for dozens of employees. Such penny-pinching measures demonstrate a blatant disregard for the well-being of their staff.
The worst part is how the HR department treats us. They seem to be allowed to discriminate against us however they want, and the boss doesn't do anything about it.
As if the layoffs weren't insulting enough, receiving termination notices during the Holy Month of Ramadan was a new low. To add insult to injury, when queried about the promised severance packages, the HR manager has the audacity to claim they're "not yet approved."
In short, MDTech doesn't care about its employees. Don't work there if you want to be treated fairly and respectfully.
