Prof. Dr. Sumera Jawad was born in Pakistan. She is a seasoned academic of Studio Practice in fine arts at University of The Punjab, Lahore – Pakistan, as well as a practicing artist with multiple solo and group shows to her credit. She is held in high regard by both the academia for her teaching skills and knowledge as well as the professionals in her chosen field of practice. She completed her BFA and MFA in painting from the University of the Punjab and also went on to receive her PhD in Fine Arts Studio Practice from the same institute. She has been serving as a permanent faculty in the College of Art and Design, Punjab University for over a decade now.
Dr. Sumera has served as chief guest and judge at numerous events and competitions throughout Pakistan and also mentored many art-based workshops throughout her career. She is very hands-on in studio practice, conducting workshops and residencies to share her valuable knowledge with upcoming professionals and students of fine arts. She stays abreast of all concepts by attending residencies, conferences and workshops herself, considering herself a lifetime student of the Arts.
Sumera currently resides in Lahore, where she works as an artist and a full-time Academic, and exhibits her work. In addition to Pakistan, Sumera’s work has been received with great enthusiasm elsewhere around the world in Europe, the Far East and the Middle East.

Born in 1989 Lahore, Pakistan, Sidra Asim graduated with honors from the prestigious National College of Arts, Lahore in 2014, where her major was painting, in 2019 she completed her MA ADS degree from Beaconhouse National University, Lahore. She works in mixed media. She has displayed her work at many galleries in Pakistan including Ejaz Art gallery, Sanat Gallery, IVS Gallery, VM, 39k Gallery, Alhamra Art gallery and Taseer Art Gallery. She also had the honor to exhibit her work at the Indonesian Embassy in 2014. She also took part in Residency at StockWood Discovery Center London, Luton, 2012. She is currently teaching A Level Art and Design at LGS JT, Lahore, in parallel to her independent art practice.

Sarah Mir completed her BFA in 2015 from the Indus Valley School of Art and Architecture with a distinction.. In 2018, Mir completed her post-graduate degree in MA (Hons.) Visual Art Department, from the National College of Art, Lahore. Born in 1990, Sana Zaidi graduated from the National College of Arts in 2017, acquiring honors in miniature painting. She taught there as a visiting faculty for two years. She went for an internship with Foundation Art Divvy. She participated in several exhibitions at the leading art galleries of Pakistan. Her work was also displayed in the 9th National Exhibition of Pakistan at the Pakistan National Council of Arts, Islamabad. She has also donated her art by collaborating with Shakir Ali Museum to aid cancer patients. Zaidi had the honor to exhibit her work at Chateau de Cologny, France, as an intercultural dialogue.

Sana Saeed is a Lahore-based practicing artist. She recently completed her MFA Degree from the National College of Arts, 2022. Prior to this, she had graduated with distinction in visual arts from NCA in 2017 with a major in painting. She also learnt calligraphy and film making to enhance her artistic expression. Sana took fine arts as an escape and a platform to channel her fears and concerns. She won the ‘’Excellence Award ‘’ in the Young Artist Exhibition 2017 which took place in the Alhamra Arts Council, Lahore. She also participated in the Artist Residency Program at Shakir Ali Museum, Lahore. Sana has displayed several works in many art galleries of Pakistan including Canvas Gallery, Gallery Full Circle and Artscene Gallery, Taseer Art Gallery, O Art Space and Zahoor-ul-Ikhlaq Gallery. She had her first solo show at the Taseer Art Gallery, Lahore.

Samara Shahid, born in 1995, is a Lahore-based artist who is also working as Lecturer Fine Arts in the University of Home Economics. She completed her M.Phil. in Art and Design from University of the Punjab PUCAD in 2020 and Bachelors in Fine Arts from Lahore College for Women University in 2016 with Gold Medal and Distinction. She has participated in various group shows in well known Art Galleries of Pakistan including Ejaz Art Gallery, Zulfi's Art Gallery, Coopera Art Gallery, AnnaMolka Art Gallery and Alhamra Art Gallery.

Sadaf Naeem is Pakistan-based visual artist who works in painting, sculpture, and installation. She received her Bachelor of Fine Art degree from the National College of Arts (Lahore, Pakistan), and is currently pursuing a Graduate degree from the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa (USA). She has presented solo exhibitions, Domestic Folds at GRRIC Contemporary, UHM, (Honolulu, USA) in 2021, Home Sweet Home at O Art Space (Lahore, Pakistan) in 2019, Surrounded at Chawkandi Art Gallery (Karachi, Pakistan) in 2017, Unknown at Koel art Gallery (Karachi, Pakistan) in 2015, Silhouettes at Taseer art Gallery (Lahore, Pakistan) in 2013, and Unspoken at Ejaz Galleries (Lahore, Pakistan) in 2007. Sadaf was included in the Karachi Biennale in 2019, and produced an installation at Alliance Francaise. She has received “Award of merit in the memory of Ethel Portner” 2020, in the group show “Fiber Hawaii 2020” at Gallery lolani, Hawaii, USA. She has received Foundation scholarship for 2020-2021 from East West Center (USA). In 2017, she received a Nigaah Award in Landscape Painting. In 2019, she was included in the publication, “20 Pakistani Women Artists You Should Know,” edited by Tauqeer Muhajir. She has also participated in many group shows nationally and internationally.
Sadaf is an active art educator. She has taught at the professional colleges Pakistan Institute of Fashion & Design, and Kinnaird College for Women. She serves as a Board Member and Coordinator of Studio RM Residency (Lahore, Pakistan). She has also conducted art counseling workshops for children in Studio RM.

Ramsha Rubbani is a Lahore-based practicing visual artist, born in 1994. Rubbani graduated from College of Art and Design, Punjab University, Lahore in 2016. Her passion for arts and exploration of new mediums followed her to seek a master’s program in Master of Art and Design Studies from Beaconhouse National University, Lahore, in 2019.

Rubbani started her career by publishing her first article, “New Faces at India Art Fair 2017'', at Vogue Today Online. She had her first group show, ‘Resurgence’, a collateral event of Lahore Biennale 01, curated by Mariam Hanif at Ejaz Art Gallery, Lahore. She participated in group shows such as ‘The Autonomous Draughtsman’, curated by Aasim Akhtar at Tanzara Gallery in Islamabad, ‘Once Upon a Time’, curated by Abid Aslam at Ejaz Art Gallery, Lahore, ‘Elements’, a virtual exhibition curated by Sara Choudhrey, London. She has participated in the 16th Annual Young Artist Exhibition at Alhamra Arts Council, Lahore, Pakistan. She has contributed to the ‘Critique-X International Art Exhibition 2020’, conceived and organized by Ashok Kumar, Santiniketan, India. She also exhibited in ‘Behind Their Eyes’ at O Art Space’, Lahore, in 2021 and a group show curated by Shanal Kazi at Full Circle Gallery, Karachi. She recently displayed her works in a group show titled as “Dar-aamad” curated by Irfan Gul Dahri at O Art Space. Rubbani is currently teaching at the University of Lahore under the Education Department.

Maham Nadeem, born in 1995, is a visual artist brought up in Karachi and now based in Lahore. She graduated from the National College of Arts, Lahore in 2018 with a major in Painting. Through her work, she unveils the idealistic expectations society has made women create for themselves and their internal attempt of trying to separate themselves from and overcome them, by shedding light on the influences of pop culture, consumerism, and social media. She worked with the Lahore Biennale foundation as assistant for artists in 2020. Her work has been exhibited in VM Art Gallery in Karachi, COMO Museum, O Art Space, Zahoor-ul-Akhlaq Gallery and Al-Hamra Arts Council in Lahore, and the World Bank Head office in Islamabad.

Khadijah Rehman is a Lahore based visual artist who graduated from the National College of Arts with a BFA in painting. She has displayed her work locally and internationally, and works in both traditional and digital mediums. Her work delves into the otherworldly quality of night-time introspections, particularly the ephemeral instances where humans exist as if within dreamscapes, caught within reminiscences of everyday moments of love, longing and wistful solitude.
