On Transgender Day of Remembrance, Hijra Festival stands in solidarity with the global trans community as we honor and remember the lives lost to hate, violence, and discrimination. Today is a day of mourning, but also a reminder of our ongoing commitment to create a world where transgender and Khawaja Sira people can live with dignity, safety, and equality. We carry the memory of those we have lost by continuing the struggle for justice, visibility, and human rights, ensuring that their lives, dreams, and voices are never forgotten.
