Assalamualaykum ww
The Quran says / decreed/ commanded that the new year for all Muslims will be Muharram.
Please people let’s reconnect to our faith as stronger Muslims and not deny allahs statements. Surely we understand and accept that we live in a country which is run according to the grégorien calendar and we use it. That is fine.
However it is not befitting for a Muslim, to negate the choice of Allah, by wishing each other happy new year, Indirectly,we have accepted that it is the new year, hence refusing by action, that Muharram is the appointed beginning of the new year chosen by Allah.

In one year there can only be one beginning.

Apologies if I have been unclear. My intentions are not to hurt anyone, as I know this group is full of wise and beautiful hearted sincere people.
Sometimes we all make mistakes without realizing. We are humans. Allah is forgiving. The Raheem.
Please forgive me if my manners have hurt or harmed anyone or their ego. ( shayateen and egos our enemies to Muslims)(if the shayateen or ego gets hurt, it does not mean you get hurt or offended).
