Performing Arts Society, Directorate of Student affairs carried out a talent hunt in Dr Ali Azam's office on May 3, 2024, spotlighting an array of talents within our University. Students came and showcased their various skills to volunteer in PAS'24. It took place under the supervision and judgement of Dr.Prof. Qaiser Jabeen ( Advisor PAS), President Hammad Tariq, Senior V.P Sania Sajid, V.P 1 Abu Bakar Shoukat and V.P 2 Maham Rafiq. Students were selected based on their confidence and skill.

As you may be aware, the renowned actress Sajal Ali recently shot scenes for her drama زَردپت٘وں کا بَن at Islamia University of Bahawalpur in which some of our students from Performing Arts Society had the opportunity to participate. The shoot was of three days, from 28th to 31st of March. We are thrilled to have had the opportunity to collaborate with the entertainment industry and provide a unique experience for our students.

Meeting of Presidents of IUB Student Societies

Directorate of Student Affairs,
The Islamia University of Bahawalpur convened a significant gathering at the Audio Video Conference Room, Baghdad ul Jadeed Campus, where the Presidents of various student societies came together to discuss their roles in the university's development and fostering student engagement in positive activities.

Dr. Muhammad Adnan Bukhari extended a warm welcome to the newly selected students and congratulated them on their roles. He encouraged them to leverage their full potential with unwavering dedication and devotion to engage fellow students in constructive activities.
Mr. Mudassar Maqbool, initiated the session by outlining the pivotal role of student societies in advancing the university's mission and nurturing students' personalities. He elaborated on the positive benefits of assuming leadership roles and provided insights into the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) of the DSA Office.

The presidents of the student societies shared their annual plans, highlighting forthcoming initiatives aimed at enriching the student experience and contributing to the university's growth trajectory.

The meeting underscored the commitment of The Islamia University of Bahawalpur to empowering its student body and fostering a vibrant campus community through proactive student leadership and engagement.
