ایک لشکر تری یادوں کا گزرتا ہے اور
میرے دل میں مرے کمرے میں دھواں ہوتا ہے

میں ترے حسن پہ کیا بات کروں کیا لکھوں
اک زمانہ ترے جلووں سے جواں ہوتا ہے

دیر ہو جائے گی لیکن وہ بھی دن آئے گا
ہم بھی سمجھیں گے کہ کیا سود و زیاں ہوتا ہے

اب ملاقات اگر خود سے ہوئی پوچھیں گے
وہ جو اک شوخ تھا دل میں وہ کہاں ہوتا ہے
