Carrying the theme โ€œStrengthening Competence in Medical Technology: Empowering Professionals for Future-Ready Laboratories", the annual celebration brought together students from different year levels for a night of showcased talent, creativity, and school spirit.

The evening featured the Infinity Gala, Faces of MedTech, year-level performances, and the highly anticipated search for Mr. and Ms. MedTech 2026. Representing their respective teams, the candidates took center stage and stepped into the spotlight, bringing their confidence, personality, and presence throughout the competition.

As the night reached its most anticipated moment, Jasmine Pearl Salvador of the Iron Legion was crowned Ms. MedTech 2026, while Dan Angelo Delgado of the Mystic Sorcerers earned the title of Mr. MedTech 2026.

The crowning of Salvador and Delgado marked the conclusion of the pageant, but the celebration continued beyond the stage. Students gathered for dinner and socialization before bringing the evening to a close with a "Dance the Night Away", featuring DJ Bass.

More than a celebration, MedTech Night 2026 became a night where students came together, celebrated their talents, and created memories to carry with them.

The Multi-Purpose Covered Court of Brent Hospital and Colleges, Incorporated (BHCI) turned into a hub of compassion as the College of Medical Technology organized a Mass Blood Donation drive with the Zamboanga City Medical Center (ZCMC) and the Philippine Red Cross. What began as a medical initiative unfolded into a story of generosity, where students, faculty, and professionals had one goal, and that was to save lives through blood donation.

At the heart of the activity were the Medical Technology students, who not only managed registration, tagging, and laboratory screening but also assisted donors throughout the process. Their role extended beyond logisticsโ€”they joined the blood collection itself, applying classroom knowledge in a real healthcare setting while working side by side with ZCMC and Red Cross teams. For many, it was a moment of service that blended learning with empathy.

The drive drew a strong turnout from BHCI students and local residents. Donors patiently moved through the screening and extraction stages, while volunteers ensured the smooth flow of the activity. The collaboration highlighted the shared commitment of students, professionals, and community members to the cause of blood donation.

For BHCIโ€™s College of Medical Technology, the activity was more than a medical initiative. It reflected the institutionโ€™s dedication to community health and social responsibility, while instilling in its students the values of service and civic duty.
