It was a proud moment for the Philippine choral community to witness the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office Chorale - PCSO Chorale conducted by Robert Delgado perform the Philippine National Anthem during the 5th State of the Nation Address. Seeing a choir entrusted with such a significant national occasion is a meaningful affirmation of the enduring value of choral music in our country's cultural life.
Beyond the performance itself, it is inspiring to see the choral art continue to be appreciated, celebrated, and given a distinguished platform at major state events.
The anthem was arranged by Robert Delgado, whose artistry and dedication to choral excellence continue to inspire choirs across the nation. We are especially honored that Maestro Delgado serves as one of the jurors of the Bukidnon Choral Festival (BCF) and has generously shared his expertise as a Dagyaw clinician and guest conductor.
At the Bukidnon Choral Festival, we remain steadfast in our mission of nurturing and advancing the choral movement—not only in Bukidnon but throughout the Philippines. Moments like these remind us that when we invest in choral artistry, we strengthen a rich musical tradition that unites communities, inspires excellence, and gives voice to our shared national identity.
Congratulations to the PCSO Chorale, Maestro Robert Delgado, and everyone who continues to champion the beauty and significance of Philippine choral music.
