Here’s a little look at our soundcheck as we get ready for tonight’s Musical Night at Luneta Park.

We’re excited to be part of an evening that brings together some of Surigao’s local musical talents. It’s always a pleasure to share our music with the community, and tonight, we get to do it with our fellow Surigaonons.

If you’re looking for something to do tonight, we’d love to have you with us. Bring your family and friends and spend the evening listening to live music at Luneta Park.

Join us tonight at Luneta Park, Surigao City, starting at 7:00 PM. Admission is free, so come by, take a seat, and enjoy an evening of music with us.

𝗛𝗮𝗽𝗽𝘆 𝗕𝗶𝗿𝘁𝗵𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗥𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘁 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝘇𝗼𝗻!

Quiet, reserved, and usually just taking everything in, Robert may not be the loudest person in the room, but those who truly know him know there’s a funny side that comes out when you least expect it. He’s observant, thoughtful, and someone who notices the little things without having to say much.

Behind that quiet personality is someone who is passionate about the things he chooses to pursue. He puts genuine effort into what matters to him, stays committed to his goals, and continues to work toward becoming better at what he does.

And despite being busy with work and everything else life brings, Robert still finds time for SLV. Whether it’s showing up, helping when he can, or simply being there with the group, we truly appreciate the time and effort he continues to give to this family.

May you continue to pursue the things that matter to you, grow in every aspect of life, and achieve the goals you’ve been working toward. Keep being the quiet, observant, and unexpectedly funny Robert that we know.

One of the women who helped build the foundation of the Surigao Luminary Voices family, your journey with us is truly worth celebrating. As one of our pioneering members, you have been part of our story from the very beginning, sharing your voice, your time, and countless memories that helped shape the family we have today.

Over the years, we’ve also watched you grow into the woman you are today. A loving mother, a hardworking businesswoman, and someone who puts so much passion into the things you love. Whether it’s your family, your businesses, or your K-pop faves, you always know how to give your all.

Even though you’re now far from the SLV family, your support and love for us have never gone unnoticed. Distance may keep you from being around as often as before, but you continue to cheer for and support the family in your own ways, and for that, we are truly grateful.

May you continue to find happiness in the things you love, success in your businesses, and more beautiful moments with the people who matter most. Keep doing what you do, keep being the woman you are, and of course, continue slaying as a mother.

Surigao City celebrates its 56th Charter Day this August 31, 2026, commemorating 56 years of its charterhood and the history, progress, and identity shaped by generations of Surigaonons.

The celebration brings together the city’s communities and institutions in honoring Surigao’s journey and looking ahead toward a renewed future under this year’s theme, “New Mission. New Vision. New Surigao.”

Surigao Luminary Voices was honored to be part of the celebration, rendering the Philippine National Anthem and Martsa Surigao.

𝗦𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗮𝗼 𝗟𝘂𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗩𝗼𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀 was honored to participate in the 𝗥𝗼𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯 𝗼𝗳 𝗠𝗲𝘁𝗿𝗼 𝗦𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗮𝗼'𝘀 𝟰𝟮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝗿𝘆, 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘆, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝟯𝟱𝘁𝗵 𝗥𝗼𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗢𝘂𝘁𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗮𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗻 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀 (𝗥𝗢𝗦𝗔) yesterday, August 30, 2026, at Hotel Tavern, Surigao.

Kidding aside, we want to greet our dear Steve a very HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

At first glance, Steve may seem quiet, laid-back, and nonchalant, but underneath that calm demeanor is a funny guy armed with witty comebacks and banters that never fail to make the whole team laugh.

As our Bass 2 and official layout artist of the Surigao Luminary Voices, Steve brings his creativity, passion, and dedication to everything he does. He is highly competitive, always gives his best, and even makes the effort to memorize our pieces ahead of time to be prepared.

Beyond the jokes and quiet personality, Steve is someone who truly cares about the team and takes pride in what we do together. We are grateful for the talent, laughter, and passion you continue to share with SLV.

Happy Birthday, Kenneth Laid!

There is never a dull moment when Kenneth is around. He is the kind of person who seems to know something about almost everything, always ready with a story, an answer, or a joke that keeps everyone entertained.

He is also our trusted cook for many of our handaan, generously sharing his time and talent to prepare food that brings everyone together. Beyond his humor and skills in the kitchen, Kenneth is someone with a genuinely good and generous heart.

We are truly grateful to have you as part of our choir family, Kenneth. Thank you for the laughter, the delicious food, and the kindness you continue to share with everyone.
