Meet Major Metcalf and Detective Sgt. Trotter: two equally interesting characters in The Mousetrap. One is generally pleasant and satisfied with most things (he loves Monkswell Manor's scrambled eggs and corned beef!), while the other is serious, not so congenial (who took his skis???), but just as keen as solving the murder case!

Find out what else these two have in common--if any at all--this Friday, June 23 and Saturday, June 24, at 6:30pm, MWS Gym.

Have you met someone so ornery, so bad-tempered, you'd want to do everything to annoy them and drive them away? Well, meet Mrs. Boyle (Or not!)!😅

Don't be mistaken though, as she is one of the funniest--in that dry wit, humorous way--characters in the play!

A brilliant middle-aged woman, Mrs. Boyle is a retired magistrate who, frankly, appears to be someone you wouldn't want to mess with. As with the other characters in the play though, Mrs. Boyle's words and actions should NOT be taken at surface level. Why does she appear to be mean to everybody? Why is she the "bloody old bitch" in the eyes of the other guests at Monskwell Manor???

In the play, Mrs. Boyle is embarking on a new chapter in her life, wherein she wishes to live in comfort and luxury as a retired magistrate. She had spent the last fall and early winter wrapping up her unfinished cases so she could go around the country to look for a permanent place to live in. Could this be her chance at a fresh start? If only people would try to understand...
