Ang online registration ay hanggang sa Hunyo 15 at magkakaroon ng online orientation sa Hunyo 16. Ang mismong workshop naman ay gaganapin sa Hunyo 17, 18, 19, 23 at may culminating activity sa Hunyo 25.

UE Hosts Alice Reyes and Bienvenido Lumbera Rock Opera Ballet 'Tales of the Manuvu'

The University of the East, through the UE Office of Cultural Affairs (OCA) and in cooperation with Alice Reyes Dance Philippines, presents a staging of “Tales of the Manuvu,” to be held on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, 2 p.m., at the UE Theater.

The show will feature members of the aforesaid dance company headed by National Artist for Dance Alice Reyes and members of the UE Chorale and the UE Silanganan Dance Troupe, which is headed by UE graduate and Gawad CCP Para sa Sining 2024 Awardee for Dance, Mr. Generoso Caringal.

The rock opera ballet was created by Ms. Reyes from a libretto by the late National Artist for Literature Bienvenido Lumbera.
The presentation is part of the events in the run-up towards UE’s 80th Foundation Anniversary.

Admission to this grand presentation is free to the UE community. Everyone in the University is invited to attend.

PEBRERO NA SA WAKAS! NATIONAL ARTS MONTH NA!

The National Commission for Culture and the Arts, through the Subcommission on the Arts and the Conrado Ladislawa Alcantara Foundation Inc., continues to celebrate Filipino artistry and creativity with National Arts Month 2026 by virtue of Presidential Proclamation No. 683.

This year, its overarching theme “Ani ng Sining: Katotohanan at Giting”, underscores how the arts uphold truth, courage, and collaboration and how it contributes to building livable communities, responsible governance, and a sustainable society. llustrating that art is not merely the product of the creative mind, also highlights arts as the outcome of peoples’ shared experiences and collective aspirations. As an expression of truth and valor, art becomes a wellspring of hope and a guiding force towards a more just and progressive society.

UE Office of Cultural Affairs Welcomes Warrior Students with “Salubong sa Mag-aaral 2025”

The University of the East, through its Office of Cultural Affairs (UE OCA), proudly welcomes all new and returning Warriors of UE Manila and UE Caloocan to School Year 2025–2026 with the much-anticipated two-part celebration, Salubong sa Mag-aaral 2025.

The festivities begin at the UE Manila campus on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, at 12:00 noon, at the SFC Lobby. The celebration continues at UE Caloocan on Thursday, July 10, 2025, at 1:00 p.m., at the Conference Hall on the 11th floor of the Tan Yan Kee Building.

This year’s Salubong sa Mag-aaral promises a vibrant and heartwarming program featuring captivating performances from UE’s premier resident cultural groups: the UE Band, UE Chorale, UE Drama Company, and UE Silanganan Dance Troupe. These talented student-artists represent the heart and soul of the University’s artistic community.More than just a festive opening, this event serves as an introduction to the UE Office of Cultural Affairs—the creative arm of the University responsible for curating cultural programs, artistic events, and managing UE’s cultural service scholars. These scholars are student-artists who contribute their talents in exchange for scholarship support, bringing artistry and excellence to the UE stage and beyond.

Through its dynamic initiatives, the UE OCA fosters creativity, cultural appreciation, and artistic collaboration across the University. It actively engages with embassies, cultural organizations, and academic partners to promote diversity, intercultural understanding, and holistic development among the UE community.

Salubong sa Mag-aaral 2025 is more than a welcome—it’s a celebration of passion, talent, and unity. It marks the beginning of another exciting academic journey fueled by culture, creativity, and the Warrior spirit.
