Reflections on Christopher Santiago's artistic evolution, the "Creative Farm-Botting Trap," and why novelty eventually runs out of gas. A look at what happens when an artist moves beyond the medium that first captured everyone's attention—and why genuine growth begins when creative risk takes its place.

Some artworks leave an impression. Others stay with you long after you've stepped away from them. Qinglong, the Azure Dragon of the East, represents spring, growth, and cosmic power. For centuries, traditional painters have captured its fluid form to symbolize the vibrant awakening of nature—a legendary guardian that still commands attention today. Reimagining this ancient legacy, artist Monnar Baldemor depicts the mythical creature in his unique, modern style, using vibrant colors and intricate textures to breathe fresh, contemporary life into a timeless symbol.

Levi Yu brings his signature "interfusionist" style to the City of Light. Heavily inspired by the crisp, linear minimalism of National Artist Arturo Luz, Yu strips away visual noise. He reimagines the historic Eiffel Tower as bold architectural shapes and disciplined geometric grids. The result is a stunning dialogue between legendary European history and iconic Filipino modernism.

Under the heavy mid-morning sun, Clara bent low to harvest the ripe palay, her hands moving in rhythm with a familiar folk melody hummed by the people around her. In the rural heartlands, singing transforms grueling agricultural labor into a shared, spiritual routine that keeps exhaustion at bay. Pausing to adjust her woven salakot, she looked out over the shimmering golden fields of Awit 67:6 with a quiet smile, grateful for a community bound by song and a land that always kept its promise to sustain them
