Wovi Villanueva was our lighting boardsman in our staging of Evening at the Opera.

BREAKING: Mattheo Wovi Villanueva, a student from the College of Arts and Letters, was arrested at Mendiola during an anti-corruption mobilization, Sunday afternoon.
His location has been found by his family and the University Student Council’s quick response team. He awaits inquest proceedings on Tuesday.
Villanueva was a security officer of his college during the mobilization, and served as the paralegal of a media officer before his arrest.
A video of Villanueva being dragged and beaten by police circulated around social media.
