The Miriam College High School (MCHS) Glee Club, composed of students aged 11 to 18, is one of the official performing groups of the Miriam College community. Under the direction of Ms. Nancy C. Roman, the group has earned international acclaim, including two gold diplomas (Youth Choirs and Sacred Music A ca****la) at the 2024 World Choir Games in Auckland, New Zealand. They also received a gold (Youth of Equal Voices) and a silver (Folklore A ca****la) medal in the Champions Category at the 8th World Choir Games in South Africa. In previous years, they won two gold diplomas at Musica Eterna a Roma in 2016, a gold medal and gold diploma in Riga, Latvia (2014), and two gold diplomas at the 7th World Choir Games in Cincinnati, Ohio (2012), where they were declared Category Winners.
In 2013, the National Commission for Culture and the Arts awarded the MCHS Glee Club its first Ani ng Dangal for their outstanding participation in the World Choir Games. Earlier, at the 6th World Choir Games in Shaoxing, China, they earned two silver diplomas in the Equal Voices and Sacred Music categories. With their consistent success, the MCHS Glee Club continues to uplift Philippine choral artistry on the world stage.
