A new shade of vibrant blue called YInMn blue, is soon to be sold commercially. Made up of Yttrium, Indium and Manganese, this blue does not fade even when exposed to oil or water.

YInMn blue was invented by accident in 2009 by chemists at Oregon State University. Now, thanks to Shepherd Color Company, it's being produced commercially.
