The Kilyawan Consortium of Voices is grateful to have served at the 4th Simbang Gabi at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish, presided by Most Rev. Elias L. Ayuban, Jr., CMF, DD, Bishop of Cubao, together with Rev. Fr. Dennis Tamayo, CMF, Parish Priest of IHMP.

From our humble beginnings as the Claret Boys Choir to who we are today, Kilyawan continues to serve as music ministers of the Catholic Church—walking as Pilgrims of Hope, and sharing faith through beautiful music.

Honored to share this moment with Bishop Eli, a fellow Claretian, celebrating our shared history and mission. 💛🎶

Let us welcome the new year with grateful hearts as we recollect fond memories of the choir’s memorable performances over the past year.

The Kilyawan Consortium of Voices sings with a sense of purpose. The choir shares its talents with profound passion to contribute to the greater good of the community.

Last November 23, 2024, the Kilyawan Consortium of Voices performed in two concurrent benefit concerts to support both educational and community initiatives.

The Kilyawan Children's Choir performed in The Harmony of Hope: Children's Chorus for Gabay Aral of the YMCA of Makati, Inc.. This was in partnership with the University of Makati Center for Culture and the Arts for YMCA'S educational initiatives.

The Kilyawan Male Choir performed as a front act to the Symphony of Love: A Night with Basil Valdez at the Claret School of Quezon City Auditorium. This event by AZ Paglilingkod, Inc. in partnership with the Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish is partly dedicated to the restoration of the Stations of the Cross sculpture of National Artist Napoleon Abueva.

Andrea O. Veneracion, our National Artist for Music and founder of the Philippine Madrigal Singers, envisions a singing Philippines and the Kilyawan Consortium of Voices equally shares this vision. As a member of the Madz Et Al network, the choir continues to perform with the Philippine Madrigal Singers in various concerts and participates in its activities aimed at establishing a nation in harmony.

Last October 6, 2024, the Kilyawan Consortium of Voices participated in "A Hundred Times Sixty"concert of the Philippine Madrigal Singers in celebration of their 60th Anniversary. The choir took part in this historic gathering of thousands of singers from all over the country at the Alonte Sports Arena in Laguna.

The Kilyawan Consortium of Voices remains faithful in its service to the Church as music ministers. Its membership to the Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish Music Ministry continues to help uplift the spirits and touch the lives of parishioners with the gift of music during their regular Sunday Mass service.

In celebration of the 55th Inaugural Anniversary of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish on September 7, 2024, the Kilyawan Consortium of Voices performed in its momentous concert. The choir also delighted parishioners with Christmas carols during the Christmas Eve Concert last December 24, 2024.

The Kilyawan Consortium of Voices has represented the Philippines in various international competitions, bringing home pride and honor through excellence and dedication in these events. The choir has taken Filipino culture to greater heights in the global choral scene and has shared the beauty of Filipino music to audiences from all over the world.

The Kilyawan Consortium of Voices Children’s Choir competed in the 8th Singapore International Choral Festival and won two Silver Awards in the Equal Voices and Folklore categories. Before the competition, the choir held a sold out Send Off concert at the UP School of Economics Auditorium last July 21, 2024.

Throughout the competition, the choir was able to perform in various concerts, immerse and acquaint themselves with members of different participating choirs, and learn choral techniques and practices through a workshop. Their victory marked the fruition of their efforts after months of training and rehearsals.

The Kilyawan Consortium of Voices remains active in promoting national culture and the ingenuity of Filipino artists to the community and the country. The choir celebrates the rich tapestry of Philippine art, interwoven in music, dance, stage design, and theater performance.

Last June 14 and 15, 2024, the Kilyawan Boys Choir performed in Carl Orff's Carmina Burana, Choreographed by Ms. Alice Reyes at the Samsung Performing Arts Theater. The choir shared the stage with soprano Lara Maigue, baritone Byeong In Park, and other premier artists from the Alice Reyes Dance Company, the Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra, the Philippine Madrigal Singers.

The Kilyawan Consortium of Voices continues its commitment in carrying out excellence in the academic community by serving as a laboratory choir for the UP College of Music conducting students. This helps aspiring conductors immerse themselves in their craft while our young choristers hone their skills through exploring various repertoire.

Last January 6, 2024, the Junior Choir performed in the UP College of Music MuC-140 (Conducting Children’s Choir) Recital of three conducting students under Mr. Mark Anthony Carpio.
