“Next Time Na” Faith

“Magmamature na ako after Christmas.”
“After New Year, seryoso na.”
“After birthday… after camp… after prayer mountain…”

Pero paulit-ulit— walang nagbabago.

1. Delayed decisions become empty promises

Hindi problema ang desire magbago—
ang problema ay laging ipinagpapaliban.

* “Soon”
* “Next time”
* “Pag ready na ako”

Pero ang totoo?
Readiness doesn’t come—you decide it.

2. Change is not seasonal

Hindi lang tuwing:

* New Year
* birthday
* retreat
* emotional moment

Ang maturity ay hindi event—
lifestyle ito.

2 Corinthians 6:2
“Now is the time… now is the day…”

Hindi “mamaya.”
Hindi “soon.”
Ngayon.

3. Feelings fade, decisions remain

Minsan after:

* camp
* prayer mountain
* church encounter

Sobrang motivated ka.

Pero after a few days…
bumabalik sa dati.

Bakit?

Kasi naka-base sa emotion,
hindi sa commitment.

4. Growth requires action, not intention

Hindi sapat ang:

* “Gusto ko magbago”
* “Magbabago na ako”

Kailangan:

* ginagawa mo
* pinapractice mo
* pinaninindigan mo

James 1:22
“Do not merely listen… do what it says.”

5. Stop resetting—start progressing

Paulit-ulit na “restart”
pero walang progress.

Hindi mo kailangan ng bagong simula palagi—
kailangan mo ng consistency.

6. Maturity is seen in consistency

Hindi sa:
* salita
* plano
* promises

Kundi sa:
ginagawa mo kahit walang nakakakita.

One strong reminder:

“Hindi ka magmamature dahil sa ‘next time’—
magmamature ka kapag ginawa mo na ngayon.”

Final thought

Hindi mo kailangan ng:

* bagong taon
* bagong event
* bagong moment

Para magbago.

Kasi ang tunay na growth
nagsisimula sa isang decision—

hindi bukas, hindi mamaya…
kundi ngayon.

“Fix Your Eyes on Jesus”

Jesus is not just part of your journey—
He is the Author and the Finisher of your faith.

So don’t base your walk with God
on your experiences…
or on the people around you.

1. Jesus is the foundation of our faith

Hindi nagsimula sa tao ang faith mo—
at hindi rin dapat sa tao magtatapos.

Hebrews 12:2
“Fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith…”

Siya ang simula.
Siya ang magtatapos.

2. Experiences are not always stable

May mga panahon na:

* mataas ang emotions
* malakas ang presence
* solid ang encounter

Pero may times din na:

* tahimik
* dry
* walang nararamdaman

Kung experience ang base mo—
magiging unstable ang faith mo.

3. People will fail—but God will not

Kahit gaano ka-spiritual ang tao—
tao pa rin.

* leaders can fail
* friends can disappoint
* people can change

Pero:

Malachi 3:6
“I the Lord do not change.”

Kung sa tao ka naka-focus,
madidisappoint ka.

Pero kung kay God—
mananatili ka.

4. Your growth is personal

Hindi mo pwedeng i-base ang growth mo sa:

* growth ng iba
* opinion ng iba
* validation ng iba

Galatians 6:4
“Each one should test their own actions…”

Faith is personal.
Relationship mo ‘yan kay God.

5. Focus determines direction

Kung saan ka nakatingin doon ka pupunta.

* focus sa tao → comparison
* focus sa experience → inconsistency
* focus kay God → stability

6. Stay anchored in God

Hindi feelings.
Hindi environment.
Hindi tao.

God.

Kasi Siya lang ang:

* constant
* faithful
* unchanging

One strong reminder: “Kapag kay Jesus ka nakatingin,
hindi ka maliligaw kahit magbago ang paligid.”

Final thought

Your journey will have ups and downs.
People will come and go.
Experiences will rise and fall.

But one thing remains:

Jesus the Author and Finisher of your faith.

So don’t lose focus.

Stay fixed. Stay grounded. Stay with God.

“Faith Inside, Words Outside”

Being a Christian is not just about what we say in prayer—
it’s also about what comes out of our mouth every day.

1. Words reflect the heart

Hindi lang basta salita ang lumalabas sa bibig.

Kung ano ang laman ng puso—
yun ang lalabas sa salita.

Luke 6:45
“For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of.”

Kaya kung gusto mong baguhin ang salita mo,
simulan mo sa puso mo.

2. “Normal” doesn’t mean right

Minsan sinasabi natin:
“Okay lang yan, nakasanayan lang.”

Pero hindi lahat ng normal
ay tama.

Just because:

* uso
* nakasanayan
* ginagawa ng lahat

doesn’t mean it reflects Christ.

Romans 12:2
“Do not conform to the pattern of this world…”

3. Words carry weight

Ang salita:

* pwedeng makasakit
* pwedeng makababa
* pwedeng makasira

Pero pwede rin:

* mag-encourage
* mag-build up
* magbigay buhay

Proverbs 18:21
“The tongue has the power of life and death.”

4. Self-control is part of faith

Hindi lang sa actions ang control—
pati sa salita.

James 1:26
“If anyone considers himself religious… but does not keep a tight rein on his tongue…”

Hindi sapat na:

* active sa church
* present sa ministry

kung walang control ang bibig.

5. Growth is expected

Hindi ka tinawag para manatili sa dati.

Kung dati palamura ka—
hindi ibig sabihin doon ka na forever.

Growth means:
unti-unti mong pinapalitan
ang lumang salita ng bagong paraan.

Ephesians 4:29
“Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths…”

6. You represent Christ everywhere

Hindi lang sa church ang pagiging Christian.

Kahit:

* sa tropa
* sa labas
* sa casual na usapan

Naririnig dapat si Cristo sa paraan ng pananalita mo.

Colossians 4:6
“Let your conversation be always full of grace…”

One strong reminder:

“Hindi mo kailangang magmura para marinig—
mas malakas ang taong may control sa bibig.”

Final thought

Ang tunay na pagbabago
hindi lang nakikita sa actions—

naririnig din sa salita.

At kung si God ang laman ng puso mo,
dapat Siya rin ang naririnig sa bibig mo

Balanced & Real

We’re not just a team—we’re one body.

Support system isn’t just “I got you.”
It’s:
• kusa
• initiative
• ginagawa mo yung part mo kahit walang nagsasabi

Hindi na kailangan paalalahanan.
Hindi na kailangan pagalitan.

At kapag may correction—
hindi sama ng loob ang sagot,
kundi growth.

Kasi real ministry is not about comfort—
it’s about commitment.

One body. One mission. Let’s build together.

“Palamura, Pero Christian?”

Minsan ang lakas natin mag-pray…
pero mas malakas ang mura.

Sa church:
“Praise the Lord!”

Sa labas:
ibang salita na lumalabas.

Real talk

Hindi naman agad napapansin—
kasi “normal” na sa paligid.
• tropa ganun
• environment ganun
• nakasanayan

Kaya ang mindset:
“Okay lang yan, salita lang naman.”

Pero hindi lang ‘yan salita

Ang bibig…
repleksyon ng puso.

Luke 6:45
“For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of.”

Kung ano ang laman ng puso mo—
yun ang lalabas sa bibig mo.

Hindi ka nagmumura kasi cool ka

Minsan:
• habit lang
• release ng galit
• pakikisabay

Pero ang tanong kontrolado mo ba ang bibig mo,
o ikaw ang kontrolado nito?

Bible is clear about this

Ephesians 4:29
“Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths…”

Hindi sinabi:
“Bawasan mo lang”

Kundi:
wag mong hayaan lumabas.

Self-control is part of your faith

James 1:26
“If anyone considers himself religious… but does not keep a tight rein on his tongue…”

Strong statement:
walang control sa bibig = weak ang faith

Hindi ka tinawag para maki-blend

Romans 12:2
“Do not conform…”

Kung lahat nagmumura
hindi ibig sabihin dapat sumabay ka.

“Hindi mo kailangang magmura para marinig—
mas malakas ang dating ng taong may control.”

Instead of:
• mura → words of control
• galit → pause muna
• reaction → reflection

Train your mouth:
• to speak life
• to speak respect
• to speak with intention

Proverbs 18:21
“The tongue has the power of life and death.”

Yung bibig mo
pwedeng makasakit…
o makapagbigay buhay.

“Kung si God ang laman ng puso mo,
dapat Siya rin ang naririnig sa bibig mo.”

“Responsibility Inside, Integrity Outside”

In ministry, it’s not just about what we do inside the church—
it’s also about how we live and decide outside of it.

1. Responsibility is personal

Serving in church is not just participation—
it is commitment.

When you accept a role,
you are not just helping—
you are taking ownership.

Galatians 6:5
“Each one should carry their own load.”

Ministry works best when:

everyone shows up
everyone prepares
everyone takes responsibility
2. Enjoyment should not replace commitment

Fellowship, bonding, and enjoyment are part of ministry—
they are blessings.

But they should never replace:

preparation
discipline
consistency

A mature servant knows how to:
enjoy moments and still honor commitments.

3. Clarity brings order

Ministry is not chaos—it is intentional.

Schedules, roles, and coordination matter
because they help:

avoid confusion
prevent burnout
strengthen teamwork

1 Corinthians 14:40
“Everything should be done in a fitting and orderly way.”

4. Ministry requires priority

Serving God is not something we do only when convenient.

It requires:

time
sacrifice
intentional decisions

Because what we prioritize
reveals what we truly value.

5. We represent Christ outside the church

Church is not just a place—it is a witness.

Even outside:

in our schedules
in our decisions
in how we treat people

We carry the name of Christ.

Colossians 4:5
“Be wise in the way you act toward outsiders…”

We are called to be:

respectful
mindful
considerate

Especially in communities where not everyone shares our faith.

6. Unity is the goal

Ministry is not built on individuals—
it is built on shared vision.

It’s not about:

who is better
who is available
who is active

It’s about:
moving together in one direction.

One strong reminder:

“Serving God is not just about showing up—
it’s about being responsible, intentional, and consistent.”

Final thought

We don’t just serve inside the church.

We carry the character of Christ wherever we go.

And that means:

being responsible in our roles
being mindful in our actions
and being faithful in every area

“San Tayo?” — A Reflection on Value, Clarity, and Truth

“San tayo?”

Isang simpleng tanong…
pero minsan, doon mo makikita kung saan ka talaga nakatayo sa buhay ng isang tao.

May sagot… pero hindi malinaw

“Ewan ko…”
“Tignan natin…”
“Not sure pa…”

Mga salitang parang may pag-asa—
pero kulang sa paninindigan.

Parang bukas ang pinto…
pero hindi ka talaga pinapapasok.

Pero ang katotohanan… lumalabas din

Makikita mo nalang—

may kasama na siyang iba
masaya siya
present siya
sigurado siya

At doon mo marerealize:

Hindi siya hindi sigurado sa plano…
sigurado lang siya na hindi ikaw.

Masakit—pero malinaw

Hindi ka niya tinanggihan direkta…
pero hindi ka rin niya pinili.

At minsan,
ang “maybe” ay isang soft way of saying no.

Biblical truth: God values clarity and sincerity

Matthew 5:37
“Let your ‘Yes’ be yes, and your ‘No,’ no.”

Sa mata ng Diyos,
ang totoo ay malinaw—hindi paikot-ikot.

Kaya kung ang isang tao ay:

laging vague
laging unsure
laging paasa

Hindi iyon larawan ng sincerity.

Hindi lahat ng “confused”… confused talaga

Minsan hindi sila nalilito—
ayaw lang nila maging honest.

1 Corinthians 14:33
“For God is not a God of confusion…”

Kung galing sa Diyos ang isang bagay—
may linaw.
May direksyon.
May katiyakan.

Guard your heart

Proverbs 4:23
“Above all else, guard your heart…”

Hindi lahat ng tao na kinakausap ka
ay karapat-dapat sa oras, effort, at emosyon mo.

Kung paulit-ulit kang hinuhulaan—
panahon na para umatras, hindi humabol.

Know your worth

Hindi ka:

filler
option
“pag wala nang iba”

1 Peter 2:9
“You are a chosen people…”

Pinili ka ng Diyos—
kaya huwag mong ipilit ang sarili mo
sa taong hindi ka kayang piliin.

Real love / real connection is intentional

Hindi ka iiwan sa:

“tingnan natin”
“next time nalang”
“bahala na”

Kapag gusto ka—
klaro.

One truth that hits

“If they wanted to be with you,
you wouldn’t be guessing.”

Final reflection

27/03/2026

“Capable, But Comfortable”

This generation is powerful.
Gifted.
Creative.
Full of potential.

But here’s the contradiction…

May kakayahan—pero ayaw gumalaw.
May pangarap—pero walang disiplina.
May lakas—pero pinipiling maging kampante.

Comfort became the new trap

Hindi na kulang sa opportunity…
kulang sa urgency.
• nakaasa pa rin sa magulang
• takot sa responsibility
• gusto instant, ayaw ng proseso

Gusto ng success…
pero allergic sa sacrifice.

“Hipak lang ng hipak” mindset

Escape over effort.
Release over responsibility.

Instead of facing life…
tinatakasan.

Instead of building a future…
sinisira ang sarili.

1 Corinthians 6:12
“I will not be mastered by anything.”

Pero ngayon…
maraming kabataan ang controlled na ng habits nila.

The danger?

Hindi dahil walang potential…
kundi dahil sayang ang potential.

Proverbs 22:29
Skill can bring you before kings—
pero laziness will keep you stuck.

Real talk

Hindi mo kasalanan kung saan ka nagsimula…
pero responsibilidad mo kung saan ka pupunta.

Darating ang point na hindi na pwedeng:
• “Bata pa ako”
• “Okay lang yan”
• “Enjoy lang muna”

Because time doesn’t wait.

But here’s the hope

This generation is not weak.
It’s just distracted.

Hindi ka kulang—
misdirected ka lang.

Wake-up call

You don’t need:
• more comfort
• more escape
• more excuses

You need:
• discipline
• direction
• decision

One strong line:

“You have the power to build your life—stop living like you don’t.”

1 Timothy 4:12
“Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young…”

But also—
don’t give them a reason to.

22/03/2026

“Bakit May Tinatago?”
(Why do youth hide things from their leaders?)

Real talk: It’s not always rebellion—sometimes it’s fear.

1. Fear of Judgment

“Baka ma-judge ako.”

They think:
• “Iba tingin nila sakin pag nalaman nila”
• “Leader ko yan, dapat perfect ako”

Truth:
God already sees everything—and still loves you.
Psalm 139:1–2 – “Lord, You have searched me and You know me…”

2. Fear of Consequences

“Baka pagalitan ako.”

So instead of being honest…
they hide:
• stories
• activities
• decisions

But hiding doesn’t remove the problem—it delays growth.

3. Double Life Culture

“Church life vs real life”
• Sunday: active, holy
• Weekdays: ibang version

Social media makes it easier:
• close friends list
• hidden stories
• selective posting

James 1:8 – “A double-minded person is unstable…”

4. Lack of Safe Space

Sometimes… it’s not just the youth.

They hide because:
• they don’t feel safe opening up
• they feel misunderstood
• they think leaders won’t listen

5. They Don’t Want to Disappoint

“Ayoko silang i-let down.”

So instead of being honest…
they choose image over truth.

But here’s the deeper truth

Hiding breaks trust.
Honesty builds growth.

What youth need to understand
• Your leader is not your judge
• They are there to guide you, not expose you
• You don’t need to be perfect to be accepted

Proverbs 28:13
“Whoever conceals their sins does not prosper…”

What leaders should also remember
• Create a safe space
• Listen before correcting
• Lead with grace, not just rules

One strong line:

“If you hide, you delay healing.
If you open up, you start growing.”

Final reminder

You can hide stories from people…
but not from God.

Luke 8:17 – “There is nothing hidden that will not be disclosed…”

Leaders are called…but they are not machines.They serve.They show up.They carry people, problems, pressure…and sometimes...
22/03/2026

Leaders are called…
but they are not machines.

They serve.
They show up.
They carry people, problems, pressure…
and sometimes, silently—they carry it alone.

Truth: Your leaders are human too

They get:
• tired
• discouraged
• overwhelmed
• drained

But most of the time…
they still choose to show up for you.

Galatians 6:9
“Let us not grow weary in doing good…”

Even leaders can grow weary.

Ministry is not just led—it is shared

Many people say:
• “Support ako”
• “Nandito lang ako”

But real support looks like:
• helping without being asked
• being reliable
• lightening the load

Exodus 17:12
When Moses grew tired, Aaron and Hur held up his hands.

They didn’t watch.
They didn’t wait.
They helped.

Stop being just consumers—be contributors

Don’t just:
• attend
• receive
• observe

Start to:
• serve
• initiate
• take responsibility

Because ministry was never meant to rest on one person.

Simple ways to help your leaders
• Pray for them (not just for yourself)
• Show up consistently
• Offer help without waiting to be told
• Encourage them (your words matter more than you think)
• Be dependable

A hard truth

Some leaders are not quitting because they are weak…
They are tired because they are carrying too much alone.

Final message

Hebrews 6:10
“God is not unjust; He will not forget your work…”

God sees your leaders.
But He also sees who helps them.

One line to remember:

“If you love your leaders, don’t just listen—lift.”

22/03/2026

What does the Bible say about lying?

1. God takes lying seriously

Proverbs 12:22 – “The Lord detests lying lips, but He delights in people who are trustworthy.”

Lying is not just a “small thing” in the Bible.
It affects character, trust, and integrity.

2. Lying goes against who God is

Numbers 23:19 – “God is not human, that He should lie…”

God is truth.
So when we lie, we are acting opposite of His nature.

3. Christians are called to live in truth

Ephesians 4:25 – “Therefore each of you must put off falsehood and speak truthfully…”

Not sometimes. Not when convenient.
Truth should be our lifestyle.

4. Even “small lies” matter

Luke 16:10 – “Whoever is faithful in little is faithful in much…”

A “small excuse” lie is still a lie.
It trains your heart to compromise.

Now let’s apply it to your example

You leave church early and say you’re grounded… but actually you have gala or basketball.

Is that wrong?
Yes—because:
It is intentional deception
It hides the truth for convenience
It builds a habit of dishonesty

Even if the reason (basketball, gala) is not sinful,
the lying part is the problem.

Is it really hard to tell the truth?
Yes, sometimes it is.

Because truth can cost you:

approval
image
freedom
comfort

That’s why many people lie—not because they have to, but because it’s easier.

But here’s the deeper issue

It’s not just about lying.

It’s about:

fear of consequences
people-pleasing
double life
What would a better response look like?

Instead of lying:

“Mauna na ako, may laro ako.”
“I need to go, may lakad ako.”

Or even:

Be honest with leaders/parents respectfully

Truth doesn’t mean you say everything harshly—
but it means you don’t deceive.

Important balance (this matters)

The Bible teaches truth—but also wisdom.

Colossians 4:6 – “Let your conversation be always full of grace…”

So:

Be truthful
Be respectful
Be wise in how you say it
Real talk

Lying may feel small, but over time it leads to:

weak integrity
hidden life
distance from God

While truth builds:

trust
confidence
strong character
One strong line you can use (for teaching):

“The issue is not just what you did—
it’s why you felt the need to hide it.”

Final truth

John 8:32 – “Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”

Lying feels easier in the moment,
but truth leads to freedom and peace.

21/03/2026

What does the Bible say about this?

1. God sees beyond excuses—He looks at the heart

1 Samuel 16:7 – “The Lord looks at the heart.”

You can say:
• “Napuyat ako”
• “Busy ako”
• “Pagod ako”

But the deeper question is:
Do I still desire God despite my situation?

Because sometimes it’s not lack of time—it’s lack of priority.

2. Busyness is not an excuse to neglect God

Luke 10:41–42 – Martha was busy, but Mary chose what is better.

Martha had a valid reason—she was serving.
But Jesus still said:
“Mary has chosen what is better.”

Meaning:
Even “good things” can distract you from the best thing—God’s presence.

3. Spiritual laziness is warned in Scripture

Proverbs 6:9–10 – “How long will you lie there, you sluggard?”

The Bible doesn’t shame rest—but it warns against habitual neglect.

There’s a difference between:
• Resting because you need it
• Avoiding God because it’s easier

4. Seek God FIRST—not last

Matthew 6:33 – “Seek first the kingdom of God…”

Not:
• Seek God when free
• Seek God when convenient

But:
Seek Him first—even when it costs you something

5. Discipline is part of spiritual growth

1 Corinthians 9:27 – “I discipline my body and keep it under control…”

Following God is not always about feelings—it’s about discipline.

There will be days when:
• You’re tired
• You don’t feel like praying
• You’d rather sleep

That’s where fortitude comes in.

So… is it a good reason?

Short answer:

Sometimes understandable—but not sustainable.

God understands your tiredness.
But He also calls you to grow beyond excuses.

A balanced truth (important):
• God is not a strict boss waiting to punish you
• But He is also not someone you put aside repeatedly

If it becomes a pattern, it slowly leads to:
• spiritual dryness
• weak conviction
• distance from God

A better mindset (healthy, biblical):

Instead of:
“Wala akong time kay Lord”

Shift to:
“I will make time for God, even in small ways.”

Practical ways (realistic):
• If you wake up late → Pray even for 2–5 minutes
• If busy → Talk to God while working
• If tired → Read even one verse, not none

Because consistency matters more than length.
