To everyone we’ve shared a workspace, a rendering crisis, or a breakthrough idea with: thank you. You turned stressful deadlines into effortless collaboration. We didn't just survive arki school; we created a bond and a legacy we’ll carry forever. 🤝✨

This is the culmination of "ARCHIV" series ranking the most memorable and productive outputs we made as arki students.

❓Did You Know: Under Republic Act No. 8491 (The Flag and Heraldic Code of the Philippines), the national flag is mandated to be displayed in all public buildings, official residences, and prominent public places.

Maritime terminals—especially international cruise and passenger ports—are a country’s physical borders. Flying the Philippine flag is an assertive statement of national sovereignty. It marks the exact boundary where Philippine jurisdiction, laws, and authority begin, serving as a reminder to foreign vessels and visitors that they have officially entered Philippine territory.

💛Admin insight: "O, 'di ba effort na effort sha, from website to magazine HAHAHA. Other people may find it ambitious and out of context (and obviously, they might see it in a bad light), pero wala namang prohibition on what to bring or do during the final presentation, kaya I just do what satisfies me. Naisip ko kasi na ito na yung last output ko as an arki student, and I want to do everything to get the most out of it.🥹 I want to make it memorable—not just to get the presentation over or 'maitawid lang', but something na pwede kong balikan at 'yung project na may branding just like how you sell your products in the market. Most importantly, pangdagdag portfolio rin hehe 'yun talaga 'yun. I love thinking out of the box as long as it's ethical at naaayon sa sitwasyon.👌"

🚢Project Informtation: The Meridian at Poro is a 15.2 Hectare Proposed Cruise Terminal with hospitality amenities located within the Poro Point Freeport Zone managed under PPMC a subsidiary of Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) in San Fernando City, La Union. This capstone proposal is based on Poro Point CIMDP, Design Guidelines and Regional Development Plan of Region 1.

💛Author Insight:

"This is my most memorable and favorite project - dahil I promised myself 2 years ago na gusto ko tapusin ang arki journey na related sa tubig ang project - first in my mind is ferry terminal within Pasig River or Laguna de Bay but the possibility is getting smaller than what I anticipated until the Poro Point came, unexpected dahil wala naman akong idea on the potential of the area at masyadong malaki - but the uncertainty amazes me that 15.2 ha area is the cradle of both comfort zone and doing something outside of it with a glimpse of self discovery, humility, and realizations- the journey is rough but this project wasn't just 'never too late' - it provided perfect opportunity in the field to recognize my passion for architecture and for this thesis and connect with the people who truly appreciate it – so thankful to my family, friends, jurors, and especially to God!”

📍Location: Clark Freeport Zone, Clark Global City, New Clark City - Cities of Angeles, and Mabalacat in Pampanga and towns of Bamban, and Capas in Tarlac.

The future and pride of Philippine metropolis - one of the solution to decongest Metro Manila.🇵🇭
If there’s a 'Hall of Fame' for site visits, Clark is at the top of the list. From the incredibly accommodating staff at the BCDA to the depth of research we were able to gather, this mixed-use development case study was a masterclass in urban planning. It wasn't just a visit; it was the foundation for one of our most recognized outputs.🥹💛

I'm just so grateful with my groupmates to make project and case studies similar to this even more memorable and productive, being a leader is just a guide and direction but having a cooperative team makes everything possible.

Architectural Acoustics: I realized that for years, I had been designing spaces that were purely visual—a silhouette, a form, a vision. But this class forced me to stop 'seeing' my designs and start 'listening' to them.
It was humbling to learn that my favorite aesthetic choices—the expansive glass, the soaring concrete atriums, the sharp, angular geometries—were, in the eyes of physics, potential acoustic nightmares.

Location: Sitio Bakal, Brgy. Bagong Silangan, Quezon City

Little do people know that pockets of agriculture still exist within the National Capital Region. Our recent fieldwork in Sitio Bakal, Quezon City, was a powerful reminder of this reality.

Unlike typical hypothetical academic projects, this experience allowed us to engage in a community-based, grassroots approach in one of the capital region's most overlooked areas. Immersing ourselves in actual community assessment provided invaluable insights that no classroom can replicate.

Huge thanks to Barangay Captain W***y Cara for the warm welcome and assistance, and to Sitio Bakal Bungad President Jie Bolaños for granting us the opportunity to connect with and assess his constituents.

𝐂𝐚𝐭𝐜𝐡𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐀𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐬: 𝐁𝐚𝐠𝐮𝐢𝐨 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲 & 𝐁𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐮𝐞𝐭 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐞

Baguio and Benguet was the common denominator of our entire case study and design proposal journey. Beyond the spontaneous detours and tireless working sessions, we wanted our stay to mean something. Being able to turn over our agritourism case study to the Benguet Provincial Tourism Office was the proudest moment of all—knowing our research might actually serve the community that welcomed us.
