Hi ate, I miss you bit extra today 🖤
Carin has been baking because face-to-face classes have been cancelled due to the monsoon rains. She's made 2 batches of banana loaf 🍞and 2 batches of meringue🧁all in the last 3 days. I am googling recipes to save the growing number of egg yolks in the fridge and wanted to complain to you about it 🍳I will send you this photo and hope to laugh with you at this memo, but you would have scolded me to give her a break because you are 'kunsintidora'🫶 like that.
I would have sent some of her baked goodies with kuya Garry back to Canada and you would be super impressed because her banana loaf is surprisingly good for a first timer 🍞
Instead, I am scrolling through our chat and wearing your old clothes that smell like imported detergent with a remote hint of yosi (or maybe I was just imagining that). Volleyball varsity ka na ba sa heaven, malakas siguro puso mo dyan. Love you!

This weekend baker has 3 meetings on July 4; yet all she can think about is when we can bake the cookies to bring to these weekend meetings, along my actual day job meetings 😂

Among the perks of a homebaker is that there's always nuts and chocolate in the pantry to curb cravings and to ward off bad vibes. Happy weekend everyone! 🍪♥️
