Featuring stunning capsule collections inspired by the works of Filipino masters in visual arts, sculpture, and architecture, the exhibition reimagines the terno, balintawak, and kimona through contemporary expressions of Filipino design.

TernoCon 2025 runs from May 28 to June 12, 2026 at the Central Atrium, SM Mall of Asia.

How did an agricultural estate transform into the towering metropolitan center we know today? 🏢

On June 13, travel through time with renowned architect and architectural historian Gerard Lico for our upcoming History Revisited lecture, "Makati’s Modernity: From Kiln to Cantilever, from Hacienda to High-Rise."

Unpack the layered transformation of Makati as a laboratory of Philippine modernism. Together, we’ll explore how the city evolved from a wartime runway to a postwar urban armature, hosting landmark experiments in concrete plasticity that shifted our architecture from masonry mass to sculptural shells, brise-soleil, and skyscrapers.

Through this session, Architect Lico will illuminate how our built environment embodies the memory, identity, and aspirations of the nation.
