Hi! It’s been a while since I last posted here, so I figured it’s the perfect time to reintroduce myself.

I’m Lei, an artist from the Philippines with a soft spot for sarcasm, terrible jokes, and, of course, my very spoiled cats. Most of my art revolves around my favorite animals, usually with a little extra sparkle because life is simply better that way.

I mostly create digital art these days, but I still enjoy working with traditional mediums whenever I get the chance. I’m hoping to spend more time with paints, pens, and sketchbooks again soon.

I’ve finally awakened from a long slumber. It’s been a while since I last picked up my pen, but this felt like the right time to draw again.

A country cannot call itself progressive if its vision of development leaves both people and animals behind. Progress is not measured by how many structures are built, but by how well we protect the communities that already exist.

If Pax Silica cannot ensure the welfare of the people affected and the community that have long called these spaces home, then it is not sustainable development. It is simply development without compassion.

The Philippines deserves progress that values life, responsibility, and coexistence.
