Filipino singer Matty Juniosa (also known as Matty J) made history on Britain's Got Talent 2026 by becoming the first contestant to receive two Golden Buzzers in a single season.

His second Golden Buzzer moment occurred during the semi-finals on April 26, 2026 which advanced him directly to the Grand Finals.

In the semi-finals, Matty J delivered a show-stopping cover of Aerosmith’s "Dream On." The performance was so impactful that judge Amanda Holden slammed her Golden Buzzer, a rare move that secured his spot in the finals.

During the auditions in late March 2026, Matty J performed a powerful rendition of Prince’s "Purple Rain." His performance earned a standing ovation and prompted Simon Cowell to press the Golden Buzzer.

Before his success on the global stage, Matty J was a contestant on the first season of Idol Philippines in 2019, where he reached the Top 12. He later moved to Glasgow, Scotland, where he worked as a part-time waiter while pursuing his musical dreams.

BBM and Ate Vi Together

President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. visited Batangas City on Friday, April 24, 2026, and warmly welcomed by Batangas Governor Vilma Santos-Recto and Executive Secretary Ralph Recto.

The visit was centered on the launch of the the President's campaign "Sa Bagong Pilipinas, Bawat Bayan Makikinabang" program, aimed at strengthening support for local government units.

During the ceremony, BBM joked that with Vilma's outfit, beauty and charm, "nagmukhang daw sila ni Ralph na drivers ni Ate Vi." He also mentioned that he already met Ate Vi long before and that they were "magka-babata. Matandaan Vilma Santos played the role of a young Imee Marcos in two biographical films about the Marcos family namely: Iginuhit ng Tadhana (1965) and Pinagbuklod ng Langit (1969).

Edu Manzano's other son appeared on GMA's Family Feud

Not many knew that besides Luis and Enzo Manzano, may isa pang anak na lalaki si Edu Manzano. His name is Diego Aspiras, 21. Noticeably, he is not using his father's surname, and his mother is celebrity chef/author Reggie Aspiras. Isa ang anak ni Edu Manzano sa kanyang ex-wife movie icon Vilma Santos at dalawa kay Rina Samson.

Diego appeared on GMA's Family Feud on Wednesday, April 22, 2026. He competed as part of the One Taguig FC team in the episode titled "Footballers vs Basketballers".

Diego Aspiras, is making a name as a professional footballer and is known as a standout defender/midfielder. He previously played for Spanish academy club Barcelona City FC in early 2025 and has also played for Manila Digger and the PFF Youth National Team.
