Boom Labrusca has this to say about Mayor Robredo's loan with GSIS to finance her purchase of solar panels:

"Si Madam Leni nag-lo loan?
Lugaw naman ni madam,
sana magnakaw kana lang para
it's atayyy char."

"It's atayyy" is a playful, slang pronunciation of the English phrase "It's a tie."

He joked about her borrowing money instead of stealing it like typical corrupt politicians.

Mayor Leni Robredo shared that she used a GSIS loan to finance the installation of solar panels at her residence in Naga City.
Following the installation, her monthly home electricity bill dropped significantly from around ₱5,000–₱7,000 down to just ₱300.

Last month, Boom Labrusca drew online attention and lighter reactions by posting a viral, humorous comparison between his generation and today's youth, in light of recent violence in school premises.

Finding Loren and Leandro

Senator Loren Legarda and her son, Batangas 1st District Representative Leandro Leviste, left the Philippines on August 2, 2026, and are currently abroad amid an ongoing Office of the Ombudsman inquiry into an alleged ₱10-billion plunder and graft case involving renewable energy contracts.

The Bureau of Immigration confirmed both left on separate flights on August 2, 2026 (Legarda reportedly heading to France and Leviste to Hong Kong), with no derogatory records or hold departure orders active at that time.

Legarda is reported to be in France on an extended medical leave, while Leviste’s specific current location hasn't been officially pinned down following his initial departure.

The Office of the Ombudsman has publicly flagged Legarda's extended medical leave extensions and Leviste's overseas travel as "suspicious," warning that passport cancellations could be evaluated if their absence continues.

Legarda and Leviste have denied any wrongdoing. Legarda maintained that her medical leave complies fully with Senate rules and labeled the accusations against her record baseless, while Leviste has denied profiting improperly from the enterprise.
