Megs Empinado is a CG-artist /Art director with several years of professional experience is a wide variety of areas such as films, tvc, game development, and rapid prototyping. Empinado was also a sculptor for major collectible companies under licensed from Marvel,DC,Capcom, Hasbro etc. Empinado is a budding artist from Olongapo,Zambales who made his debut in the art scene last year. ike my artwork to speak across time, across eras. I'd like to think that even centuries from now,future generations will appreciate my art and how I presented them. I would like to go beyond the "modern",even when speaking about the process. My art style is a continuous work in progress which I refer to as "Wormhole Punk." Wormhole Punk - Can be regarded as a more advanced genre of Cyberpunk. In this setting, entities travel through time via wormholes (type 3 civilization in Kardashev scale.), where a type of nano-organism lives and awaits a host to nourish itself. This nano-organism is a type of alien worm resembling tardigrades. It feeds off its host's negative energy. In return, it empowers its carrier. This symbiote is called HELMINTH. It multiplies exponentially when tied to a host and usually dwells in the extremities. This symbiotic relationship can be considered as ""mutualism,"" but if the host is filled with evil energy... it ends up in ""parasitism.""
In this case, the growth of HELMINTH is uncontrollable, will occupy its host's entire body, and probably take over its consciousness. And yes, Helminth can move from host to host on its own accord.

As I have often expressed, Guillermo Tolentino has been my ultimate source of inspiration in pursuing a career as a sculptor. It was during my second-grade years when I encountered his presence within the pages of a book, and since then, I firmly believe that no Filipino sculptor can rival his exceptional talent, even in the realm of digital artistry.

Additionally, I harbor aspirations to craft statues portraying remarkable figures who have left an indelible mark on history across various domains, akin to the masterpieces of Tolentino. It is my earnest wish that National Artists, such as FPJ and Tolentino, receive due homage through the creation of statues and paintings, serving as a testament to their invaluable contributions to the realm of arts.
