For real?
I've noticed how some Filipinos are quick to call almost anyone from Mindanao a “DDS” whenever someone from the region does something violent or controversial.
If a person commits violence, criticize that person. If someone supports Duterte, then criticize their political views. But why drag an entire region into it?
Mindanao is not a political monolith. Not every Mindanaoan is a Duterte supporter, and being Bisaya or being from Mindanao doesn't automatically make someone DDS.
You can condemn violence without turning it into “Mindanao = DDS.”
Just don't generalize millions of people because of one person's behavior.
For real, guys. We can do better than that.
