The Lauriat Story

I have a friend who lives outside the Philippines.
We don’t usually talk, but recently we reconnected to discuss some business ideas.

After hours of random topics, our conversation shifted to something deeper. Faith.
He opened up about his struggles and his perspective on life.

I’ve known this guy since we were kids.
We always saw him as resourceful, adaptable, and doing well in life.
So hearing his story really hit me.

I couldn’t help but share how God changed my life.
Honestly, I never imagined we would have a God-centered conversation.
He knew me for years as someone agnostic.

But there we were, talking about Christ.

After a 3-hour video call, he messaged me and asked for my PayPal.
He said he appreciated the conversation and was craving a Lauriat from Chowking, so he wanted to treat me.

I told him it was not necessary.
He helped me just as much as I helped him.

But he still sent it. And it was more than enough.

Since he knows about Ink4Jesus, I told him part of it will go to creating more keychains for our ministry so it can bless others too.

That moment reminded me of our purpose.
To share God. To plant seeds. To be used by Him.

What started as a business conversation became a reminder of how good God is.

Everything has a purpose with Him.

I remember the moment God found me.
My first thought was… “Do I really deserve this?”

But grace was never about what I deserve.
It’s about who He is.

He called me by name.
Not because I was worthy, but because I am His.

And the same goes for you.

You belong to God.

There are times when I feel lost…

like I don’t know what I’m doing or where I’m going.
I question if I’m on the right path, if I’m making the right decisions.
But this reminds me, I’m not doing this alone.
God is still working, even when I don’t see it.
He hasn’t forgotten me… and He’s not done with me yet.

when we feel like we’re not enough, not seen, not important.

But God sees you differently.

You are valued.
Not because of what you do…
but because of who you are to Him.

To be honest, there are moments when questions come into my mind about this page…
Is it worth it? Am I on the right path? Is this even working?

Sometimes, I feel drained doing all of this.

Then God sends a small but meaningful sign…
through people, through messages, through moments like this.

And it reminds me..
this isn’t for me… it’s for Him.

I’ve experienced financial stability before… everything was okay on the outside, but somehow, something was missing.

Now, I’m in a season where things are harder… but I feel safe.
I have a kind of peace that I’ve never experienced before.

A peace that doesn’t depend on what I have…
but on who I trust.
