𝗜𝗯𝗮𝗯𝗮 𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘆𝗼 𝗻𝗴 𝗗𝗮𝗽𝗵𝗻𝗲𝗻𝗲

Masyado kang mahal.
At dahil kaarawan ng taong ipinaglaban at ipinagsigawan narito ang pagbati ng pakikibaka.

Protesta ang ibigin ka sa gitna ng Luneta. Panata ang piliin ka sa kabila ng korapsyon. Simple ang hiling ng isang payak na raliyistang gaya ko---marinig ang boses ng pagsinta. Ang magnakaw ng sandali nawa'y hindi mo ikagalit. Sambit ng aking labi'y ibaba ang presyo ng Daphnene, sigaw ng puso ko'y labis kang mahal. Mabigat ang buwis na ipinatong sa'yong balikat ng gobyerno. Ngunit, hindi nakakahiyang pagsaluhan ang fishball, kikiam, tokneneng, kwek-kwek at kalamares. Ang tunay na nakakahiya ay ang pagtuhog ng higit sa binayaran, parang tiwali at kawatan sa pamahalaan.

Muli, maligayang kaarawan sa dilag na inalayan ng tula at awit sa paglayang minamahal.

Is it okay to attend on firefly's homecoming?

I think so,
but this time it has a different spark
on a different night.
They were right,
you will never meet the same firefly
in the same summer twice.

One loves to dwell with the laurel tree
the other wants roses in the valley.
One was a retrospect
the other was a prophecy.

He met her in the rain,
but she left him in pain.
She's really a firefly
She starts the fire and then she flies.

On 9th of February,
he broke the jar that once broke her.
At the beginning of December,
he's not a kid anymore either.

Someone rekindles his moon,
and he's ready to be burned again
Hoping it's her
Knowing it's not her, again.

Yes, the phrase "life is like a book" seems like a cliche, but have you ever asked yourself what type of book it is? It's up to you. You are the author of your own and may God be your librarian. It should be a basin of love or tragedy not a retrospect. It's not something to be looked at or to be reviewed every time you wanna reminisce about those forgotten ones. Let those dead characters be eaten by termites. But, please never tear or burn any page of memories for I won't understand you. Besides, don't turn it backwards for it will hinder you from moving on to the next chapters. You're supposed to write new moments with unfamiliar pens and faces, with new smiles in unfamiliar places. Don't be ashamed of your past and be optimistic about the future stories that will blot on paper. At the end, share your book only with people who know you well and be grateful to someone who allows you to open theirs.

tunay na aranya ng tahanan

PAPALAGI, PAPA PALAGI.
sa simula ng pagbangon ng araw
susuungin ang ulap ng maghapon
hanggang ang takip-silim ang magdikta
saka lang titigil 'pag ang mundo'y namahinga

Kaya't habang buhay tayong tatahan sa sinapupunan ng pagkalinga
Pipiliin nating humimbing sa bisig at ihele sa ugoy ng yakap
Mananatiling musmos na iyakin
At sa kanila uuwi para magsumbong, LAGI.

knowing that line A will never meet line B at the beginning of the path feels like lemniscate hopelessness,
but realizing that points A and B will somehow be closer, yet they'll still never intertwine at the end brings me bunch of negative quadratic equations.

Ngayo'y malinaw na sa'kin kung bakit punong-puno ng mga bandalismo ang mga pook ng abangan (waiting shed). Bakit? Sapagkat bandalismo ang simbolismo ng pagkainip. Nag-iiwan sila ng marka para kung sakaling 'di mo na sila maabutan malalaman mong naghintay sila kahit sa maiksing panahon lamang at hindi mo sila masisisi kung pinili nilang umusad mag-isa kaysa manatili.
