𝘓𝘖𝘖𝘒 | 𝘗𝘕𝘗-𝘌𝘖𝘋/𝘒9 𝘎𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘱 𝘔𝘢𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘢𝘪𝘯𝘴 𝘏𝘦𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘥 𝘙𝘦𝘢𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘴 𝘛𝘩𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩 𝘌𝘐𝘙𝘛 𝘋𝘦𝘱𝘭𝘰𝘺𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘚𝘦𝘯𝘢𝘵𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘚𝘪𝘮𝘶𝘭𝘵𝘢𝘯𝘦𝘰𝘶𝘴 𝘗𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘰𝘯𝘯𝘦𝘭 𝘈𝘤𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨
In line with its commitment to ensuring public safety and maintaining operational preparedness, the PNP-EOD/K9 Group immediately deployed its Explosive Incident Response Team (EIRT) to the Senate of the Philippines in Pasay City on the late evening of May 13, 2026.
The response team, led by PMAJ ALEJANDRO L PARTA, JR and PMAJ CARLO G SANTOS, departed from Camp Bagong Diwa, Bicutan, Taguig City at about 10:10 PM and arrived at the Senate at around 11:00 PM. Said operation was terminated at around 1:45 AM of May 14, 2026 by the District Director of SPD.
The deployed personnel were composed of:

Simultaneously, personnel of the Regional Explosives and Canine Unit – National Capital Region (RECU-NCR) at Camp Bagong Diwa, Bicutan, Taguig City, conducted personnel accounting at around 12:30 AM by PCOL SONNIE B OMENGAN, ACS and PCOL EDWARD D QUIJANO, Chief, EODOD to ensure that all personnel were accounted for and ready for immediate deployment.
At the same time, the EIRT Base at Camp Crame also conducted personnel accounting. PBGEN ROGELIO Z RAYMUNDO, JR, Director, PNP-EOD/K9 Group, together with PLTCOL ANDREI ANTHONY S MANGLO, Chief, EODMTD were present at the PNP Command Center (PCC) and monitored the situation alongside Senior Officers at the Higher Headquarters to confirm the operational readiness of all available personnel and resources.
This coordinated deployment and simultaneous personnel accounting highlight the PNP-EOD/K9 Group’s unwavering commitment to mission readiness, rapid response, and the protection of vital government institutions and the Filipino people.
