Art workshop on Gwen Chan Outreach program as her birthday celebration. Collaboration with the Commission on Youth - Mary Immaculate Parish, Apostles of Christ Through Service and Catholic Women's League to give fun and creativity to children.

We began with just three students, gathered in a small space at our mentor’s home. Over time, the group became smaller — down to one — but the mission never faded. 🎨💫

Today, we are grateful to see new life and growth blooming again. From that humble home studio, we are now being invited to share our art through exhibits. 🖼️🌱

With grateful hearts, we thank God for every step of this journey. May He continue to guide us in our mission — to create, inspire, and serve through art. 🙏🎨💖

After a month-long break for Holy Week, we resumed our art lessons—and yesterday was bursting with color. In a world where we are constantly on the move and striving for perfection, art gives us permission to be messy, to pause, and to truly be ourselves. It allows us to express who we are without fear or pretense.🎨🖌️

Despite occasional challenges with attendance and commitment, we remain hopeful and excited about the future of this art program. We still believe that with our values we are able to bring the future of religion and art together.😇

A single stroke of the brush symbolizes passion, faith, and dreams.
A color that embraces the emotions.
And a piece of work that shows authenticity.
Art drives everyone into a deep understanding of who they are.
The eagerness to make more and more,
The satisfaction when the canvas is covered
And your hands got colored.

Somehow it drives us into something when we feel nothing.
Art is what life has to offer.
It connects us to someone who has different shades of color.
but similar purpose
it's to make a masterpiece that we will leave in this world when we’re gone.

We are connected not just by art.
We are also connected with God in the midst.
We are his masterpiece, his creation.
We are the art that He carefully crafted.
And each one of us is a priceless treasure.

Can we truly know what lies ahead of us? The art lessons at Sagrada Art Society are just a pastime for us right now. It's where we meet new friends, connect with people who share our passion, learn new things about art, and do work that pleases God. But we believe that, in the future, it will grow into something much more. We are confident in this because it's an investment that will surely flourish. We invest our time, effort, and faith in God today, and in the future, we will see the fruits of our hard work. So, yes, we can know what is ahead of us because what we do now will shape our future.

BATA, BATA, LUMAPIT KA

Sinabi ni Jesus, “Hayaan ninyong lumapit sa akin ang mga bata. Huwag ninyo silang pagbawalan sapagkat ang mga katulad nila ang mapapabilang sa kaharian ng langit.” - Mateo 19:14

Lubos na ikinagalak ng Sagrada Art Society ang pagsali ng mga batang sina Yui (9), Yukki (6), at Therese ( 8 ). Sa murang edad ay nahahasa na ang kanilang galing sa sining at nakapagbukas ng pinto upang harapin ang talentong ipinagkaloob sa kanila ng Diyos. Isa rin itong oportunidad upang mas mapalapit ang mga batang ito sa Simbahang Katolika at mas mapalalim ang kanilang pag-intindi sa simbahan. Sabi nga ni Hesus, hayaan natin ang mga bata na lumapit sa simbahan. Isa itong pagkakataon upang tahakin nila ang tuwid na landas at mas mapamahal sa ating Panginoon habang sila ay mga bata pa lamang. Ang art class ng Sagrada Art Society ay isang instrumento upang mapalapit ang mga bata at matanda sa Panginoon. Nakasama rin noong nakaraang linggo si Gwen, Izy, at Kuya Nilo sa idinaos na art class.

Patuloy ang aming grupo sa paghikayat sa kahit anong edad, bata man o matanda, na sumali sa aming art class tuwing Linggo na ginaganap sa Big Banquet Hall (BBH) ng MIP, alas-diyes (10:00 am) ng umaga hanggang alas-dos (2:00 pm) ng hapon. Ito na ang iyong senyales na hinihintay. Sali na sa amin!

TULDUKAN ANG NAKASANAYAN

"Hindi ako magaling sa art."

Madalas na bukambibig ng karamihan sa tuwing mapag-uusapan ang art o sining. Tila isang harang sa pagtuklas sa talento na nakakubli sa bawat isang nilalang. Tila pumipigil sa pagtuklas nang panibagong panghubog sa kakayahan ng sarili.

Nitong Marso 9, 2025, sina Gwen, Sam, Izy, Beng, at ang batang si Pablo ang mga unang dumalo sa isinagawang art workshop na pinangunahan ni Emman Farol sa Big Banquet Hall (BBH) simula alas-diyes (10:00 AM) ng umaga hanggang alas-dos (2:00 PM) ng hapon. Pagpipinta at oil pastel art ang mga naging aktibidad sa maghapon. Ipinamalas ng isa't isa ang talento't husay sa kanilang mga sining. Ang mga kasapi ay may iba't ibang karunungang taglay sa pag-intindi at pagsagawa ng kanilang art.

Layunin ng nasabing workshop na ipalaganap ang religious art o mga sining na may kinalaman sa Simbahang Katolika. Layunin din nito ang makapagbukas ng panibagong pagkakataon na mas makilala at mahubog ang biyayang talento na ipinagkaloob ng Maykapal. Tutuldukan ang mga maling kaisipan na nararapat lamang ang art sa mga mahuhusay na nilalang. Ang workshop ay tuloy-tuloy na idaraos tuwing Linggo sa BBH simula 10:00 ng umaga hanggang 2:00 ng hapon.
