Pagbati, Lara Tinos! 🏆 🎨

Matagumpay na idinaos ang 1st Outstanding Student Leaders at 5th Student Affairs and Services National Convention 2025 ng TRAC Philippines noong Oktubre 1–3, 2025. Dito ay nagtipon ang mga kabataang lider at alagad ng sining mula sa iba’t ibang panig ng bansa upang isulong ang makabuluhang pagbabago sa pamamagitan ng pamumuno at kultura.

Sa ginanap na On-the-Spot Poster Making Competition, buong dangal na kinatawan ni Lara ang ating 𝘚𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘢𝘯𝘨 𝘗𝘢𝘢𝘳𝘢𝘭𝘢𝘯, Polytechnic University of the Philippines, at nagwagi bilang 𝗨𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗺𝘆𝗼 ✨ sa kanyang makabuluhang obra na sumasalamin sa diwa ng kabataan, sining, at kolektibong pagkilos.

Lubos ang aming pasasalamat kay Sir Boyet De Mesa sa kanyang paggabay, at sa lahat ng patuloy na sumusuporta at nagpapalakas sa Likha at sa aming layunin: ang sining ay para sa bayan.

Bilang pagtatapos ng gabi ng pag-alala, narito ang talumpati ni Naiomie Abueva ng LIKHA na binigkas kagabi sa : Sining, Kultura, at Paglaban.

Good evening to everyone—our beloved professors, guests, fellow artists, and to the people we stand for.

My name is Naiomie Abueva, representative of LIKHA. We are honored to present to you our mural—a piece not merely created for show, but offered as a commitment, a remembrance, and a cry for justice.

This mural is inspired by those who came before us by the artists who bravely honored the Kentex factory workers. Tonight, we give it our own voice, our own soul—reimagining the past through our hands and hearts.

Each letter of "HUSTISYA" carries a piece of their story:

H stands for the fire—the tragedy that took innocent lives behind factory walls.

U for the officers and rescuers who carried their bodies out, granting them dignity after injustice.

S for the families left behind—waiting, mourning, holding on to shattered hopes.

T for the marches and protests the collective voice that refuses to be silenced.

I for the very product they created the simple slippers that now bear the words "Justice for Kentex Victims," turning everyday labor into a sacred symbol of their fight.

S for those unheard those physically silenced, but who never gave up their will to be seen.

Y for the artists and historians those who shape memory not to freeze them as victims, but to honor them as heroes who fought every day for their families.

And finally, A...feet wearing the humble slippers walking toward a future we dare to dream, while carrying the memory of those we lost.

Behind each letter, in the shadows, stand the silhouettes of all who stood with them—who continue to stand with them still.

This mural is not just an artwork.
It is a promise:
A promise to remember.
A promise to stand firm.
A promise to keep creating for those who can no longer speak.

We must learn from the past.
We must never give up the fight for justice.
And as artists of the people, we vow to keep creating, keep giving voice to the voiceless, and keep fighting for truth and hope.

PUNO NG SINING AT ALAALA 🕯️🎨

GANAP KAHAPON!!
Kasama ang LIKHA sa pag-alala ng : Sining, Kultura, at Paglaban isang gabi ng pagtitipon upang gunitain ang International Workers' Memorial Day at ang Ika-10 Taong Alaala ng Kentex Factory Fire.

Sa pamamagitan ng isang mural painting, nag-alay kami ng sining—hindi lamang bilang dekorasyon, kundi bilang paggunita sa mga manggagawang nawala at pagpapatuloy ng panawagan para sa karapatan, kaligtasan, at dignidad sa paggawa.

Maraming salamat sa UNYON ng mga g**o sa PUP, kay Sir Boyet De Mesa, Sir Arlan Camba, Ma'am Nadia De Leon, sa mga panauhin at pamilya ng mga biktima, sa mga estudyante ng PUP, at sa Institute for Occupational Health and Safety Development sa pagkakataong maging bahagi ng gabi ng pag-alala.
