Likha A platform for Benildean creatives to celebrate, preserve, and innovate Philippine arts. ๐Ÿ–Œ๏ธโœจ

Likha is a student organization at De La Salle - College of Saint Benilde dedicated to integrating cultural art and traditional techniques into the contemporary art scene. Our mission is to bridge the gap between heritage and modernity by showcasing the richness of our cultural heritage within contemporary artistic expressions. We explore diverse art forms from various regions, tribes, and narratives, including fashion, pottery, jewelry design, woodworks, weaving, and performance. Through our initiatives, we foster a strong sense of identity and encourage the development of culturally-inspired, innovative practices for the global market. Members gain insights into art history, studio practices, entrepreneurial management, and cultural understanding, empowering them to create meaningful and socially relevant art and design. Likha welcomes all creatives, artists, and designers who are passionate about promoting indigenous art forms and fostering innovation. Join us in celebrating and transforming art through our shared cultural heritage!

Thank you to everyone who joined us last April 26 at Hotel Lucky Chinatown! Your curiosity and wonder made the exhibit come alive, as we uncovered the extraordinary beauty of insects and the world!๐Ÿ’ก๐ŸŒŸ

A huge thank you to everyone who visited and for making this celebration of art and science possible.
