Benilde Model United Nations Benilde Model United Nations (BenildeMUN) is the largest and pioneer Collegiate Model United Nations in the Philippines.

As the largest and pioneer Collegiate Model United Nations in the Philippines, Benilde MUN offers a platform where participants can be respective countries' model diplomats in addressing the most important political, economic, and socio-cultural issues relevant to the international community, specifically the United Nations. Since 1998, the annual BenildeMUN conferences have brought together Benil

deans and other colleges and universities in the Philippines, specializing in different fields and expertise. Benilde MUN is a three-day simulation of the operations in the United Nations in the form of a conference that aims to enhance and engage students in the field of diplomacy by fostering the comprehensive exercise and development of students’ diplomatic skills and practices.

Established to prevent dangerous human interference with the climate system, the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) brings nations together to stabilize greenhouse gas concentrations through global cooperation. 🌍🌿

Carried across and agreements is the key principle “Common but Differentiated Responsibilities,” introduced at the 1992 Rio Earth Summit. It affirms that all nations must act on global environmental issues, but with responsibilities based on historical contributions and capacity. 🤝
