The ecotourism festival of the Municipality of Santa Teresita is called the Namunit Festival, also known as the National Ecotourism Festival. It is usually celebrated around February to promote the townโs natural attractions, culture, and environmental conservation.

Timmore Island is a small island located in the middle of Bangalao Lake, one of the main natural attractions of the municipality.
It serves as a scenic focal point of the lake and is now promoted as a tourist destination.

During the Namunit Ecotourism Festival, the island becomes a venue for eco-tourism activities and displays.

Eco-kubos (native huts) built by different barangays

These kubos are made from bamboo, cogon, and other indigenous materials, showing the creativity of the local community.

A pontoon bridge was constructed to connect the lakeshore to Timmore Island.
A pontoon bridge is a floating bridge supported by boats or floating platforms.
