HONORING ROOTS — MURAL PAINTING WINNERS 🎨

In a vibrant celebration of Indigenous Peoples Month, we are proud to announce the winners of our first-ever Mural Painting Contest at Surigao del Norte State University - Malimono Campus! Under the profound theme, "Weaving Culture, Enriching Future: Empowering Indigenous Communities as Bedrock of Sustainable Development," our participants showcased deep respect and artistic brilliance in honoring our cultural heritage.

CELEBRATING CREATIVITY: MURAL PAINTING CONTEST WINNERS!🖌️

We are thrilled to announce the winners of the Mural Painting Contest held at Surigao del Norte State University - Malimono Campus. In celebration of National Arts Month 2026, our talented participants brought life to the theme: "Ani ng Sining: Katotohanan at Giting". The walls of our campus have been transformed into vibrant storytelling canvases, showcasing the rich culture, history, and artistic spirit of our community.

CALLING ALL ARTISTS, CREATIVES, AND STORYTELLERS
In celebration of National Arts Month 2026, the Culture and Arts Office of SNSU Malimono Campus proudly launches the Mural Painting Contest with the theme “Ani ng Sining: Katotohanan at Giting.” This activity is a sequel to the successful mural initiative held during National Indigenous Peoples Month, envisioned to fill and transform the walls of the CTE Building Entrance Gate into a vibrant gallery of stories, truths, and courageous expressions.
Through this continuing mural project, the University aims to populate the entrance gate walls with meaningful public art, making the campus more welcoming, expressive, and culturally alive. Each mural will serve as a lasting visual narrative—reflecting social realities, cultural identity, and the collective voice of the SNSU community.

📅 Duration: February 2–27, 2026
👥 Open to: SNSU students, alumni, stakeholders, and local art groups (individual or team entries)
