One thing that really stuck with us from our last Discipleship Cluster is this: Our body belongs to Christ, so let’s honor Him with it!

As 1 Corinthians 6:20 says, “For God bought you with a high price.” That’s the Gospel! Jesus paid the price for us, and that changes how we see ourselves and how we live.

The world might say, “My body, my choice,” but as we walk with Jesus, the Gospel transforms not just our mindset but also our heartset. And as we grow in Him and walk alongside the community He has placed us in, we learn to honor God with our bodies, not out of pressure, but out of love for Him. ☝🏼

We all have our own plans, decisions, and ideas of what’s best for us. But following Jesus means choosing His way over our own, even when it doesn’t make sense to us.

As young people, we’re constantly making decisions about our future, relationships, studies, and dreams. The question is not just, “Have I invited Jesus into my life?” But “Have I allowed myself to enter into Jesus’ grand plan for my life, surrendering my own ways to follow His?”

Let’s not just follow what feels right to us. Let’s surrender our lives to Jesus and trust that His way is higher than our ways, His thought are higher than our thoughts.

Last Friday, September 25, our ENC Makati student leaders, young professionals, and Campus Missionaries had the opportunity to spend the day with ENC U-Belt, experiencing firsthand how God is moving among students. ❤️‍🔥

It was a day of learning, serving, and connecting, while being reminded that ministry goes beyond programs and places—it is ultimately about 𝙥𝙚𝙤𝙥𝙡𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙞𝙧 𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙅𝙚𝙨𝙪𝙨. 🙌🏻

We got a glimpse of how the U-Belt community reaches students, builds relationships, and creates spaces where young people can hear and respond to the Gospel. We were blessed to learn from their Campus Missionaries, join them in ministry, and serve alongside them. 🌱

What stayed with us most was seeing the 𝙂𝙤𝙨𝙥𝙚𝙡 𝙗𝙚𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙡𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙙 𝙤𝙪𝙩 in the everyday lives of students—students who matter to God and whose lives He desires to touch and transform. ✨

We’re grateful for the opportunity to step outside our own campus, learn from what God is doing in U-Belt, and be reminded that wherever students are, God is already at work. Jesus’ heart longs for these students! 🫶🏻

Last Saturday’s Discipleship Cluster, we talked about TRUST: When fear and pressure come into our lives, we tend to act out of urgency instead of obedience. But we’re learning to choose obedience, trust God, and depend on Him even when we don’t have all the answers. 📖

And we’re also reminded that we were never meant to figure life out alone. Community helps us stay grounded, reminds us of God’s truth, and encourages us to keep obeying even when it’s hard.🙌🏼

God’s silence doesn’t mean God’s absence.
Sometimes, He’s teaching us to trust Him while we wait. 🙏🏼

Trust God. Obey His Word. Walk with community. 🤝🏼
