2022 CCP Kaisa sa Sining Mindanao GADOR Awards Awarding Ceremony - Part 1

Relive the 2022 Gador Awarding Ceremony held last November 5, 2022 at the Tagum City Historical and Cultural Center!

The Gador Awards which started in 2020, is a recognition program for outstanding artists, cultural administrators and organizations in Mindanao initiated by the Kaisa sa Sining (KSS) Mindanao network of the Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP) and facilitated by the CCP Cultural Exchange Department (CED).

Part 1 of the video features the first set of awardees: Dr. Christine G. Ortega (literature/cultural administration, Iligan City); Dr. Helen Tejero (music, Iligan City); Ronolfo “Popong” Landero (music/Davao City); MSU TCTO Tambuli Cultural Dance Troup, (dance/indigenous art, Tawi Tawi); and Dumendingan Arts Guild (DAGI) (cultural administration/indigenous art, Pagadian City).

Also featured are performances of some of the most prominent Mindanaoan artists and performing groups: Kaliwat Performing Arts Collective, Kathara Dance Collective, University of Mindanao Chorale and the RMMC Teatro Ambahanon.
