There are seasons in life when we pray for God to remove the pain, yet He chooses to walk with us through it instead. Not because He has abandoned us, but because some lessons can only be understood through the journey.
Our choices often lead us into difficult seasons. In those moments, it’s easy to ask, “Lord, why me?” But before asking God to rescue us, we should also ask ourselves if the path we chose was aligned with His will. That’s why every major decision should begin with prayer, wisdom, and surrender.
Even when life feels overwhelming—when you’ve cried countless tears, when hope seems distant, and when you feel like giving up—don’t let go of God. He remains faithful, even when you cannot yet see His purpose. Sometimes His greatest miracle isn’t removing the storm immediately, but transforming you while you’re in the middle of it.
This morning, God reminded me of this powerful promise:
“You do not realize now what I am doing, but later you will understand.” — John 13:7
If you’re in a season of waiting, trust Him. If you’re in pain, keep holding on. If you’re confused, keep praying. One day, God will reveal why you had to go through what you’re facing today.
His timing is perfect. His plans are greater than ours. And when He reveals the reason behind your process, you’ll realize that every tear, every delay, and every hardship had a purpose.
Hold on to God. He is not finished with your story yet. 🙏
