Our AYTF 2025 journey to Vientiane, Laos wouldn’t have been possible without all of you. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to everyone who supported, cheered, and believed in us. This journey is yours as much as it is ours.

From ARTIST, Incorporated — raising the voices of our communities through theater and using art as a force for change.

🎭 MULI, MARAMING SALAMAT PO! 🌏✨

ARTIST, Inc. is incredibly grateful to be part of the Asian Youth Theatre Festival 2025 in Vientiane, Laos sharing the stage with amazing young artists from 14 countries! With the theme “The Right to Be Human,” the festival became a powerful space for storytelling, creativity, and voices that truly matter.

Thank you to MANAPAK (Mamamayang Nagmamahal sa Pakil) for welcoming us into your community in Pakil, Laguna, and for sharing the stories that gave life to Project D. We remain grateful and committed to honoring the voices of our community, onstage and beyond.

Endless thanks to Buds Theatre and Khaoniew Theater for making this incredible platform possible where young artists connect, collaborate, and create beyond borders. Mabuhay po kayo!🙌🏼

To everyone who supported us financially and emotionally, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Your belief in us is the bold flavor that keeps our creative fire burning, and we carry your support with us wherever we go. ❤️🔥

This experience was truly life-changing, and we’re so excited to keep the conversations, collaborations, and creativity going at the next Asian Youth Theatre Festival!

Yesterday, we visited the COPE Museum and learned about the painful legacies of war and the incredible resilience of people who continue to rebuild amid destruction.

We saw stories of children, women, and men whose lives were changed by decades-old bombs still buried beneath the soil, robbing them of their ability to play, work, or provide for their families. Even today, unexploded “bombies” remain scattered across the lands of Laos, posing danger to communities every single day.

Inside the museum, we also witnessed the remarkable efforts of thousands of individuals working to support survivors, from rehabilitation to prosthetics, and even innovative systems that recycle old prosthetic materials into renewable energy. These initiatives extend not just to victims of UXOs, but to people with disabilities across the country.

Admission to the COPE Visitor Centre is free. If you’re able, consider supporting their work by purchasing from their shop or donating to help UXO survivors and people with disabilities in Laos.
