Homies and besties!

Nakibahagi ang Shift Happens sa pagdiriwang ng ika-144 na Town Fiesta ng Bayan ng Alabat, Quezon, sa paanyaya ng kanilang lokal na pamahalaan.

Bukod sa pagtatanghal ng dula, nagkaroon din ng pagkakataon ang Move to Change Foundation, Inc. (M2C) at Arts Research and Training Institute in Southern Tagalog, Inc. (ARTIST, Inc.) na bumisita sa Alabat Central Elementary School at Alabat Island National High School. Nagsagawa ng storytelling session para sa mga mag-aaral sa kindergarten at elementary, at nakipagdayalogo rin sa mga g**o at sa punong-g**o ng high school upang magbahagi ng mga ideya tungkol sa edukasyon, arts, at changemaking.

Hindi pa rito nagtatapos ang paglalakbay ng Shift Happens. Saan kaya ang susunod na stop?

LOOK: SHIFT HAPPENS @ ALABAT, QUEZON PROVINCE ✨

What a memorable day in Alabat! Last July 13, 2026, SHIFT HAPPENS became part of the Alabat Town Fiesta celebration, bringing together stories, conversations, and a community united through the arts. In partnership with Move to Change Foundation, Inc. and the Municipality of Alabat, ARTIST, Inc. began the day with a storytelling session for the students of Deped Alabat Central ES.

As evening came, Tanghalang Del Carmen came alive as SHIFT HAPPENS took center stage before the people of Alabat. More than a performance, it became a shared experience—one that sparked reflection, encouraged dialogue, and celebrated the power of theater to bring people together across generations and sectors.

To our incredible hosts—Hon. Eizelle "Ays" M. Avellano-Canimo, Hon. Hilda Ursolino, Engr. Grant Kevin C. Mesa, Rene V. Gurango, and Rev. Fr. Voltaire Noel Olaya—thank you for your warm hospitality and unwavering support. And to the people of Alabat, thank you for warm welcome. Your energy, openness, and enthusiasm reminded us why we continue to bring SHIFT HAPPENS to communities across the country. Until the next stop! 💚

A day filled with creativity, connection, and meaningful conversation! ✨

SHIFT HAPPENS made its way to DepEd Francisco E. Barzaga IHS - Dasmariñas City, for a day dedicated to learning, collaboration, and the transformative power of the arts.

In partnership with Move to Change Foundation, Inc., ARTIST, Inc. brought together students and teachers for immersive workshops in music, visual arts, creative writing, stage management and teachers' education on arts education.

As the workshops came to a close, the stage came alive with a special performance of SHIFT HAPPENS—a story that invited reflection, sparked meaningful conversations, and reminded us that change often begins with the courage to take a stand to make a change.

To the administration, faculty, staff, and students of Francisco E. Barzaga Integrated High School, thank you for opening your doors and hearts to us. Your energy, curiosity, and enthusiasm made this experience one we'll always cherish. 💫
