"Tuesday's occupation."--- ♡A day can feel like a year because of the depths of its long hours. In just an hour, something can forever change. In just a minute, a decision can steer you into a different direction. Even in a mere second, you can go back and forth between life and death. And within the circumstances time holds you can find yourself in a constant pressing process of reason and principle, truth and lie, hope and fear, and other chasms of existence we are destined to bridge.
Chasms condensed in a day with its concrete and abstract forces. Forces that dictate encounters such as the prying question from a distant associate, and that insensible calculation of human limitation to trivialize exhaustion. The intention of words and actions piquing your consciousness and conscience. The nuances of impressions and the semantics of utterances and responses all claiming a virtue. ---The pulse of the flesh, the voice of the Spirit --- Intentions, nuances, and claims --- each one changing a man's hours, steering his minutes, and having his seconds go back and forth life and death. This makes a day a heavy thing to carry because the hours are full, the minutes too powerful, and the seconds too infinite.
