📚 BASICS: Reading a Candlestick

What it is: Each candle on your chart tells you four prices for that time period: open (where price started), close (where it ended), and high/low (the extremes it touched). The thick part is the body (open-to-close range); the thin lines are wicks (the highs/lows that got rejected).

Why it matters: A candle's shape tells a story before you even look at an indicator. A long wick means price got rejected hard in that direction. A big body means strong conviction one way.

Quick takeaway: Body = the fight that was won.
Wick = the fight that was lost.
