Through the rhythm of music and the soul of movement, we are all connected, no matter where we come from or who we are. Dance lets us feel things we cannot always explain and gives us the freedom to express ourselves in ways words never could. It is in those quiet moments and loud beats where we simply let go and just be.

Every step, every beat, and every movement carries a story. Some are filled with joy, others with struggle, but all of them are real. Dance teaches us to be patient, to keep going, and to find beauty even in the small progress we make along the way.

It brings people together, creates memories, and reminds us that we are not alone in what we feel. Whether on stage or just dancing for ourselves, it becomes a part of who we are. Today, we celebrate the art that makes us feel alive, connected, and free. Happy International Dance Day 🤍💃✨

Day 2 of Dance in Space 2026, part of the celebration of National Arts Month 2026, was held on March 2, 2026 at the Kabankalan City K-Center. The event was spearheaded by the City of Kabankalan through its Tourism, Culture, and the Arts – Saot Ka Dance Sector.

The morning session was facilitated by Daryll B. Odango, LPT, who conducted workshops on Movement Analysis, focusing on dance composition, creating a dance piece through choreography, and dance improvisation.

In the afternoon, the two-day workshop wrapped up with a culminating activity at the Kabankalan City Public Plaza, where participants showcased the works they created during the sessions. This highlighted the idea that dance can be performed anywhere and within any space.

The event concluded on a high note with a unity dance participated in by the Saot Ka facilitators, Tourism staff, and members of the community.
