Really loving this feature, spot.ph! It’s heartwarming to see local stories given a space to shine, and for small authors like me to be part of it. I’m truly grateful to have my work featured in such a tiny yet soooo beautiful bookshop... and even more so to call the owner a friend! (hey there, Sir D!)

On National Literature Month, we put the spotlight on a small indie bookshop on Cebu's bustling Osmena Boulevard. What was once a small adjoining space dedicated to a bank’s ATM machine is now a place where Cebuanos can find the works of homegrown authors—sometimes the authors even show up, sign their books and talk about them.
